Who would you have as a long term pick? Thinking of replacing Raya with one of the below. Not really liking the double ARS defense.
    A) Pickford
    B) Sels

Sels. I am not 100% convinced Everton isn't doomed just yet.

He should get a lot of save points though....7 saves in the last game as well.... there's a reason why he is the second highest scoring GK this season

Might as well get a few more opinions while it's quiet-ish. WC draft umpty-tween:

    Dubravka | Fabianski
    Hall | Chalobah | Murillo | Castagne | Greaves
    Palmer | Salah | Rogers | Amad | J. Murphy
    Haaland | Wood | Mateta

Given Forest beat Liverpool away, I'm loath to bench Wood this GW, but I'm not exactly lousy with choices here. The other alternative is to go with no Haaland, in which case the team looks something like

    Dubravka | Fab
    Gabriel | Milenkovic | Hall | Chalobah | Castagne
    Salah | Palmer | Mbeumo | Rogers | Amad
    Isak | Mateta | Wood

More balanced? It might be, but just like team 1 relies on Haaland being fixture-proof, so does team 2 on Mbeumo and Gabriel.
(Gabriel can become Timber if I want to upgrade Milenkovic to Aina, but that's kind of 6/half-dozen, really.)

      Sels
      Timber Konate Hall
      Salah Palmer Bruno Mbeumo Gordon
      Isak Wood/Cunha
      Fab Pedro Munoz VdB

Fair one, I don’t rate him either but Slot seems too, I could afford VVD with that team but don’t like investing that much in defence.

Isak team over Haaland team for me.
I'd get Bruno on a WC, with or without Amad.
Have you considered 3-5-2? Look at it this way. Bruno/Mbeumo vs Mateta.

Lovely. And here I went thinking I found a loophole into a starting 4.2 mil GK on a good team.

As for United assets - I've been burned betting my own team enough times not to over-invest. I do have to admit, I'm tempted by Bruno, but definitely not together with Amad.

      Haaland - Isak - Raul

wildcarded myself to a haaland team last gw. just for 1 thing wouldn't really consider haaland if it meant no isak

      the team was

Kepa (soon to be Pickford) fodder
      Hall Munoz Young Williams RAN
      Salah Palmer Semenyo Sarr Murphy
      Haaland Isak Delap

do you currently own Isak or would purchase price be 9.3? if 9.3, and with lower SV would suggest best to leave Haaland out. would not feel comfortable having to play 4 of those 3 defenders on your Haaland draft every GW, feel like in the absence of premium defenders would need at least 5 viable options. that second team looks much more viable, aside from not keen on the gk duo. if affordable Kerkez + Munoz much better over Chalobah and Castagne imo.

like prefer Delap/Wissa Kerkez Munoz Pickford
to Mateta Castage Chalobah gk duo you've got

but end of the day, thats personal preference on where the money goes, the structure regardless looks good with the second team. think Mbeumo and Gabriel are fixture proof. its a plus for Mbeumo than in the tougher fixtures he tends to play more as a striker in a 352

Yea but I can easily bench him and Amad seems better for United attacker v SOU. Dont want to be stuck with Hojlund when as said above he has less secure minutes and less points for same price.

This is the GW to do it!

But after watching Wolves and NFO last night I am now back on Salah.

Wolves had so many big chances, and I actually did not think NFO was tight at the back at all.

Strand Larsen should have scored at least two, and NFO gave Wolves plenty of opportunities.

We just don't know what they impact will be when Botman/Burn/Schar are all fit and available so I think some reduced mins for Hall is worth taken into consideration.

Howe does tend to keep a settled defence so unlikely to chop and change. Maybe a case of don't buy don't sell until we get more info.

Rather surprised Havertz is playing CF over Jesus. I would have thought Jesus would be more of a pest to Burn/Botman with his pressing than Havertz, similar to Solanke/Spurs

Martinelli RW against Ipswich didn't particularly work. Arteta switching Martinelli back to LW and Trossard RW tonight.
