Guys, I tried to push myself to buy Kluivert but I have serious questions after examining his past returns, most of them are penalties and against unpredictable opponents (mainly), he seems to blank against easier oppositions and do better against bigger teams, maybe he is Pedro kind of player?
Rogers on the other hand, RW recently(not good), with CL coming to make him tired for the PL…

I'm paying a fortune for the 1-2-1 ultra service with personal team review zoom calls on Hub but my rank is still appalling. Does scout offer a similar service? Thinking about switching.

For one to one support from big names like Rich Clarke, Big Man and Adam Hopcroft. Unfortunately it's really eating into the money I set aside to rent the basement in my old family home.

The best part of playing FPL for me is doing my own research.
The only service I’d be tempted to pay for is predicted ownership data for active managers or those in the top 10k/50k/100k/500k/1m and elite.

You're still able to do all that with the ultra service. It's not like FPL review where you just do what the algorithm says and remove all independent thought.

I actually thought Hub having an ultra service was satire, but it’s legit. There’s no way it’s worth it. FPL is too simple to warrant a zoom call review and everything else they offer near enough equivalent info is available for free.

Virg, save your money and pay me 60 quid a month instead. I have a higher finish that nearly all these experts, and the ones I don’t (eg Big Man) I did it when there was 9m players not 3m.

Bit stuck on the best move(s) this week. Open to suggestions. (3 FT & 0.0 ITB).

    Sels
    Gabriel - Kerkez - Robinson
    Salah - Palmer - Foden - Mbeumo - Amad
    Isak - Wood

    Areola / Jackson - Colwill - VDB

    a) Jackson / Colwill to TAA & non-playing forward (play Amad every week)
    b) Jackson to Gakpo/Mateta/Havertz
    c) Other suggestions

This is the context Virgin is talking about. If you don't mention this at the beginning, people will waste their time telling you not to bench Isak and to wait for a DGW.

It’s more optimal to have triple Liverpool and play AM chip in the later doubles

No so sure as the third pool is likely to have limited mins unless you go two defenders

        • 6 Years

Can you explain your reasoning? Wouldn’t triple Liverpool be just as good if not better in another double? Salah might be in better form then too.

        1. Strike me a Gakpose
          • 12 Years
          1 year, 1 month ago

Most people will have triple Liverpool, say the 3rd Liverpool spot is VVD and he gets 12 points. If you play AM, you’re essentially down 12 points, when everyone who hasn’t played it can play it in the bigger DGW’s

      3. Gommy

This is just an assumption that is based on many unknowns and its best use will always be situational per team.

I've said it before but I see the AM chip as a significant inconvenience as I plan to use my FH, WC and BB in the most optimal way from GW32 onwards - I absolutely do not want a AM Chip hanging over me, still waiting to be used, that will restrict me for 3 GW's straight during that period.

It also may be less important for me with my Team value but it also restricts you in your extra budget, when you may need it most in the dying weeks of the season.

DGW24 could well be the best time to play AM and it shouldn't be dismissed.

Playing a chip because you don’t want it hanging over you isn’t optimal

Please don't take that out of context. I've explained how I find other chips more valuable to me later in the season, specifically from GW32 onwards.

By contrast, that means using it earlier in the season. I could go on and talk about the pro's of using it in DGW24 but I suspect it doesn't fit your narrative.

      Using triple captain now.

Liverpool could have the season won by the next DGW + could be deep in champions league and they could easily bench Salah or other clubs could give more opportunity to other players.

Salah will play both in dgw24. Easy decision to play it

Let's say I do Timber to TAA, which makes me bench one of TAA/Gab/Munoz/Hall this week, wouldn't you still play TAA/Munoz/Hall? Then you would possibly also bench Gab in GW24, so isn't keeping Timber better value wise?

Somehow beyond comprehension this team has racked up 83 points this GW so far, but I need so many changes (and I'm not humble bragging because seriously this is a Jenga team and I've sucked all season long, dang I have Onana and Dunk and Lewis lol) but I have 2 FT and am thinking:

    a. Haaland to Isak, save 1 FT + 1 FT to decide for DGW24 Liverpool assets
    b. Haaland to Mateta?
    c. Sit tight, you held the overpriced buffoon for this long, why not one more week?

    Henderson (Matthews)
Hall - Robinson - Munoz (Dunk - Lewis)
Salah - Palmer - Kluivert - Mbeumo (Onana)
    Pedro - Wood - Haaland

City GW26 (table bonus if 5 places below Pool)
