Are you asking whether to buy Rogers? Good fixtures in super short term, but likely has a BGW in GW29 and fixtures drop off after next 3 weeks anyway.

I'm not personally sure when/if I might get him back given fixtures till season end on the trickier end. Will likely have a DGW though.

Prefer Mbeumo for the stretch and non-blank.

Bournemouth is a HARD fixture, so Liverpool will no doubt try to play their strongest XI, which Gakpo is in.

Early sub was likely planned. Jota is injured. Nunez was ill.

All signs point to him starting vs. BOU.

Always makes me laugh when money grabbers like yourself make such comments - for some people it's not all about the money. If you're earning very well anyway, you don't need more money. And I have made similar decisions in my own career, taking pay cuts for example to further my skillset. Simply going for the most money is a mistake only the naive like yourself will make.

It's OK Jim, some people think that making decisions in their own careers (that pays pennies) is somehow comparable to a decision that gives 300k a week. Some people take the moral highroad but would totally do the same!

            Can't agree with this view.

Footballers have a limited shelf life of 10-15 years to make as much as they can before they retire. For those of African or South American background, it is common for them to share their wealth to ensure their loved ones are also financially secure if they grew up poor, or to help to develop their hometown by contributing towards building schools, hospitals, football centres to help develop kids from their region into focusing on sport so they can follow a similar path in life.

Think it's a bit one eyed to assume all footballers are money grabbers without looking at the bigger picture beyond football. Why should players not try to earn as much as they can if they are doing this for the benefit of helping others or to improve the community they grew up in?

      What is the injury?

Arteta: We'll see how it improves.

If Raya is injured, is Neto able to deputise?

Arteta: Yes, that's why he's here, to do that job and he's done it for 20-odd years in his career.

What did you make of his performance today? Talk to me about some jittery moments.

Arteta: I'm very happy, first of all, that he played. It's been seven months, eight months almost, since he played his last competitive match and it's not easy, so I'm very happy that he played and we won again.

Sanchez to Pickford worth a hit?

Better chance of a clean sheet for Sanchez vs West Ham than Pickford vs Leicester, but extra fixture for Pickford vs Liverpool and probably preferable going forward, but hit not ideal.

What are the odds Rogers gets rested over the weekend against wolves?

Not the best of odds, what algorithm are you using?

Very slim after a hat trick. 8 days after it until the FA Cup. Why would they rest him?

Quite a tight turnaround till the weekend and he played the full 90mins. Never really followed Aston Villa so I'm sure if the manager likes to do a pep roulette and rest players. Thanks for the inputs though!

What would you do with this lot?

    Pickford (Sels)
    TAA Hall Robinson (RAN VdB)
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Gordon (Rogers)
    Isak Gakpo Wood

    1FT 0.1 ITB

Biggest dilemma is Rogers - I'd all but decided to do Rogers & RAN to Kluivert & Huijsen for -4, but not so sure now after the hattrick. Thoughts on keeping him and/or playing instead of Wood or Gordon?

With BOU playing LIV, you can probably wait a week on Rogers and play him this week, possibly over Gordon as Fulham are a tough beat - you probably dont need a NEW triple up against them, esp 2 in attack.

I would therefore suggest RAN > Huijsen for free only this week and that would only to avoid price changes. I wouldnt play him. Next week you can make the call on outs - personally I think a NEW triple up is a nightmare over the next month.

Quite fancy Ollie Watkins for the two favourable games if he signs for Arsenal.

Stupidly went with Diaz a few weeks back and blocking my path to Gakpo now. Facing the below 2 choices...

    1) Wood + Diaz -> Gakpo and Mbeumo
    2) Sarr -> Mbeumo

    Sels // Fabianski
TAA Gabriel Greaves // Robinson Munoz
Salah Palmer Diaz Semenyo // Sarr
    Isak Wood Wissa
