    Henderson
    Hall - TAA - Mykolenko
    Palmer - Foden - Gordon - Salah (C)
    Isak - Gakpo - Wood

Subs: Fabianski - Enzo - Aina - Robinson

    Options:
1 - TC Salah this week
    2 - TC another time?
A - AM Chip with Liv GW25, transfer out Liv players release funds
B - AM Chip with Spurs GW31, might hit form and people back from injury. Still need funds but more prep time.

    I thinking 1B?

Could do with a little bit of input from the community to see what makes the most sense. 2FT used this week to bring in Kluivert and Mbeumo before I was priced out of them, with a view to the next few weeks. Already tripled up on Liverpool and had planned to TC Salah this week. With the potential double double, do I now take a -4 hit to bring in AM?? My team is:

    Raya Valdimarsson
    TAA Gabriel hall Robinson Harwood-bel
    Salah palmer mbeumo kluivert rogers
    Gakpo Isak Jimenez
    0.1 ITB

    Do I:

    A) TC salah this week, kluivert to Outtara GW 25 to generate funds for AM Emery for free (if Liverpool reach cup final)

    B) take a hit to transfer kluivert to Outtara this week, AM moyes this week, with the assumption that I can use my FT GW25 to move to Emery. Save TC for a potential Isak in GW36, or a prime SGW

    C) take a -4 to downgrade Gakpo/TAA to raise money for AM slot this week. If so, who to downgrade?

    D) downgrade Gakpo/TAA next week to raise money for AM slot in GW25 if so, who to downgrade?

I go around in circles with it

Because AM doesnt magically make you have more than 3 players per team, so wont often make sense for the AM to be a good choice for those limited spots. Maybe fulhsm if they double in 25.

I am using it on Iraola so I get a good run of fixtures, am not burning transfers on it, and get the extra budget spend out of the way before I need to load up on City players.

I think whoever you use it on you have to judge it over the 5 games vs 3 or 4 if you dont go in 24 and not individual results.

Unquestionably the most I've ever agonised over an FPL decision.

I have Mo, Trent and Gakpo. Intended to go without Everton and TC Mo.

The DGW developments mean AM is the way to go I think. I have 1FT and £1m in the bank. Gakpo to Wissa and go Slot (meaning can hopefully keep Slot for a 2nd DGW and do Isak to Watkins for free next week) or just chuck it on Moyes, hope they get something v Liverpool in last ever Goodison derby and see where the doubles fall?

I appreciate this is a common dilemma but any help still very gratefully received!

I would not get rid of Salah, Tent or Gakpo. I'm on Alisson myself, which I feel is easier to let go off.

The moyes plan is a little risky, as you're likely to rely on getting something against liverpool twice. I think I would rather TC Salah now, or be ballsy and wait for dgw25, which could be a very nice differential tc for you.

Thinking I may go Moyes. I'm a Liverpool fan and I've seen plenty of Liverpool teams fail to win at Goodison, even Klopp's team in 19/20 (albeit 1st game back after lockdown).

Hi all, was planning to TC Salah this week, but now leaning towards using AM. 0.7 ITB and no free transfers.

    A). Moyes for AM

B). Gabriel to Tark/Mykolenko (-4) and Slot for AM

C). Wood or Watkins to Ndiaye (-4) and Slot for AM

Currently leaning B, but thoughts appreciated!

      A I think

I'm in a very similar situation

If you had 0.8m there is the option to switch to Fulham but you'll need a hit next week

Everton v Leicester is the best fixture and bonus potential if Everton can get a result against Liverpool

Then you're into the double double

Fully agree. They overrate the chip because it gets points over 5 games, when you can get the same with an extra liverpool player and use the chip over 4 gameweeks with better fixtures

      1. Ginkapo FPL
        • 14 Years
        1 year, 1 month ago

Its the same with the enthusiasm for using two transfers on the chip. You wouldnt plan to bring in a player for one week only, so why do so with AM?

      2. Sir Michael Taker
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 1 month ago

You cant use the chip over 4 gws. Its 5 games in 3 gws. The gamble in not playing it is you probably only get 3 or 4 games at it instead. But nobody really saw a lot of 25 happening before yesterday so who knows what will happen in the future we may get another double double.

2-0 without Gakpo involvement will give 10pts to Slot and 2pts for Gakpo.

And 2-3 with Gakpo brace will do the opposite. Whats your point?

I gave you what you were asking for: Why do people think that Slot will outscore Gakpo?

They dont expect Gakpo to get attacking returns due to his away form which makes Slot better for them.

I think a lot also dont think Gakpo gets 5 games over the next 3 gws whereas Slot or whichever assman you use definetly does. Theres a gamble on his xmins now with the schedule and fitness update on Jota

The main issue for me, is that people are taking hits to remove a Liverpool player for Slot without even knowing if they'll get a second double.

Also, players can score well even in a loss, the manager not so much.

It doesnt matter about Liverpool getting a 2nd double though. If there isnt then that makes assman miles better than Gakpo. There will be a 2nd double for somebody regardless.

That's only true if Liverpool win most/all of their games.

Bou away will be very tough, likewise a local derby. Too many chickens are being counted.

Gakpo can still score well in a draw or a loss.

I was actually considering Thomas Frank for the Leicester game.

Depends what happens to the table by then but some could end up going Moyes in 24 and 26 potentially

Already asked this question but adding an extra option! Who to bench?

    A) Foden
    B) Gordon
    C) Rogers
    D) Wood

I already have Isak playing btw

Would be more viable if united gave table bonus, which they almost could after next week, but not quite

This must be the most chaotic 16-18 hours in fpl history even covid didn't cause this much mayhem

Anyway I think I'll stick to my initial plan and TC Salah

Are you sure? Tough fixtures, plus early kick off. Pool almost always have low scoring results against Everton too.

      I'm sticking with TC also.

Partly because I dislike making last-minute adjustments to my plans, partly because getting Slot would require a hit to remove a Liverpool player. And lastly, due to the doubts over a second double when I have no FT's in reserve to switch managers (aiming to bring in Kluivert next week).

Play one of: N.Williams or Munoz
Play one of: Rogers or Amad

    Currently on Williams Rogers

Munoz and Rogers I think. (Due to Palace's defensive away form).
