      Most likely Liverpool and Villa.
If not then Spurs and Fulham.

Have 4 FTs and 3 Liverpool already. Thinking:

    Allison > Pickford
    Greaves > Mykolenko

Leaves £1.5m exactly for Slot AM.

    Thoughts?

For AM Slot, a draw and a win in the first double would mean around 14 points, with 3 games still to be played. That’s pretty good.

      1. Qaiss
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 2 months ago

14 points is high, as they’re away games and tough to keep clean sheets

        1. Sir Michael Taker
          • 11 Years
          1 year, 2 months ago

14 is probably not unrealistic. A win is minimum 8 points. It would be 9 for 1-0 as they reward clean sheets higher than goals initially. A draw is minimum 4 points. So that is 12 at the very worst for a win and draw.

You don’t think Salah gets 14 points in DGW24?

        1. Sir Michael Taker
          • 11 Years
          1 year, 2 months ago

Personally I think the likelihood of Liverpool taking 4 pooints from that double is much higher than Salah scoring 14 points yes. We're going from dealing in player specific outcomes (goals, assists, bonus) to a team specific outcome where you don't care who scores or how many. The team outcome will nearly always be more likely to come off.

Only just found out that DGW25 is confirmed. I was set on playing TC Salah and already have 3 pool. I haven't given it any thought, but what about playing TC24 then Assman in 25, 26, and 27? Any logic to that?

Not terrible, but a bit underwhelming perhaps. Would at least make you lore flexable towards the end of the season

I’m in the same boat, I don’t think you need to play the am in 25, there’s more upside playing it at the end of the season. It gives a massive advantage though to people that had planned to play it this week. I’m leaning in sticking to the plan, but holding the tc is also worth considering, we still don’t know who’s doubling in 25 yet. Not great from the fpl to announce this so late

    3. Sir Michael Taker
      • 11 Years
      1 year, 2 months ago

If you're planning TC then AM in 25, assuming its on Moyes initially as you're tripled up then main consideration is the 24 score without any captaincy for Salah as everyone has captain on him vs Moyes score in 24. Obvious other factors too but that is the main scoring aspect.

    4. Casual Player
      • 5 Years

Heaps of you have 3 Liverpool already

but everyone is blinded pivoting from TC to AM for this GW, you know, the GW which hasn’t changed.

Because 5 is bigger than 4. Even though 4 was bigger than 3.

I think using AM/BB/FH in GW25 are all in play tbh

    5. Zladan
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 2 months ago

This is the play for me too I think.

I don’t see why AM 24-26 is any better than TC24 AM 25-27.

I am hopeful for better double upside fixtures in GW25 than LFC (so Spurs win is huge).

Is TC dgw24 and AM dgw25 a strategy someone will go for, or is it a total waste of chips not to use AM from dgw24?

    1. Bobkat
      • 3 Years

Could work but I think it’s AM gw24 so you get 5 games out of the chip

      1. Zladan

But you get the extra fixture in the form of a TC.

Now thinking save TC and AM. Is it mad. My rank is in the gutter anyway.

    Pickford
    TAA, Munoz, Murillo
    Salah, Palmer, Mbeumo, Rogers
    Isak, Wood, Gakpo
    Elanga, Kerkez, Greaves

If Liverpool and Villa Double GW then I will triple captain Salah GW25 and AM later on. Possibly Isak to Watkins

If Spurs and Fulham double I may use AM and TC later in the season and have 1FT

If Arsenal and Chelsea double as well may need to FH as only have Palmer there.

Well put. I’m just not sure on Moyes assistant manager and wasting a transfer to change him. When I may want a Watkins or someone. And Salah next week looks even better if it happens, if not I think the assistant manager is better next week and seen posts suggesting we could have a Haaland or Isak DGW if need be for the TC. There could be other DGWs for AM too.

Arsenal chelsea double would be the painfull one. Got just Palmer aswell and would have to tear the team apart without using FH.

I’ve just sold Gabriel last night for TAA as well. Great timing. Admittedly I can’t see Arsenal winning 3-0 at Newcastle but you never know.

    Pickford,
    TAA, Robinson Hall
    Rogers, Salah, palmer, Gordon
    Wood, isak, gakpo

    Subs, fabianski, Amad milenkovic, faes

I have already used triple captain and no idea about whether to use assistant manager on Moyes as have 3 Liverpool. But what about playing bench boost as apart from fabianski they look decent fixtures. Thinking of swapped faes for mykolenko for another double.

    I've cancelled TC24 on Salah.

    O FT, £0.7m itb.

    Would you rather:

A TC25 on Salah Wolves H and potentially Villa away

    B AM on Moyes dgw24

Then a hit to another manager in gw25?

    1. Bobkat

B as A may not happen and might as well get 5 games out of the AM chip

I'm looking at B just weighing up the chances that pool may lose second leg or rest/injured players in such a long dgw for the TC could be a safer bet going AM

With the form they’re in it feels very unlikely to me that they get nothing out of two homegames at least. I think chances are good for at least a win against Leicester or a draw against Liverpool, which alone would be at least 8 points, before a possible 3 more fixtures if you switch manager

    Still feel the play is:
    TC24
    AM25-27

We don’t know who the doubles will be in GW25.
People taking hits to get doublers in and out.
People picking Slot with no bonus potential.
There’s likely to be one fewer DGW after GW26 now so not like one approach gets more DGW value.

Agreed, the unknown of GW25 and beyond is stopping me playing AM now and being locked in. Risk v Reward though...

      Everyone has gone mad

I get Slot if you hadn’t got the 3rd Liverpool yet, because 4 high floor fixtures is good.

But people suddenly want Moyes because there’s an extra game the following week lol
