Am I going crazy with the bench players? Totally no idea right now.

    Sels
    Gabriel Hall Andersen
    Salah Palmer Dango Kluivert Mbeumo
    Cunha Isak

    Valdi TAA Wood Munoz

      Gotta play Trent imo.
      Drop hall.
Wood is a tough bench, bit hard to pick a mid/fwd to bench.

        Team looks fine I think:

        Sels
        TAA, Gabriel, myko
        Salah, palmer, Mbeumo, outtara
        Wood, mateta, Isak

      Personally I made the move.

Do think Chelsea will struggle vs. Villa and Rogers could play a part - but put off by his stretch of blanks & all the minutes played lately.

Dango is refreshed - I want him for next stretch anyway; I'll want Rogers gone.

      Holding isn't terrible though.

Using my FT to move out Slot. Why do I have a nagging feeling about Arsenal and Arteta? Is it the reliance on Trossard and Nwaneri? If they had Saka and Martinelli I'd feel much more confident.

Should I just bite the bullet and punt on Glasner?

My plan is to roll through 29

If I go Nwaneri, I could potentially get to Haaland by doing Gakpo+Watkins+TAA > Haaland+Cunha+4.2 Defender

        1. Sebastes

Then the Nwaneri move makes more sense. Would still back Dango to get more points leading up to it.

Dango, Gvardiol, Marmoush > Nwaneri, Haaland, 4.2 imo, for example

Alright money where my mouth is. Pereira in. I'm trusting my eye test here. Wolves beat Villa for table bonus a couple weeks ago and played really well against Pool and probably should have got a result. Their recent results haven't been good but I put that down largely to having an insanely hard fixture run.

Bournemouth are good, but I believe Wolves can get a result. I also don't have Cunha so that is a bit of a hedge as well in case he does well. He'll be a popular Gakpo replacement.

I know I'll very likely be alone on this train but that's okay. It's a one week punt and then can kiss this silly chip goodbye. Might as well live a little. I think the margins are small this week and it's the sort of place you could do something different and come out ahead.

Yes, I just don’t see the point on arteta, slot etc. it’s taking a chunk out of the budget but has a small ceiling of points.

Emery and moyes have out scored slot in the doubles. I’d rather go periera or even McKenna.

Agreed. I totally understand going for Glasner, RvN or McKenna. It's really up to you to decide which underdog to back. Maybe you saw something in Leicester, Ipswich or CPL that makes you think they'll get the upset. I looked at each of those and didn't like their prospects better than Wolves hence Pereira.

You won't be favored, but that's the nature of hunting table bonus.

Agree, the margins are small this week & that's why I'm sticking with Slot to avoid the hit. Admire your courage & conviction, hope it pays off for you especially if it's Cunha that gets you a result. GL!

Absolutely fine as well. If you have no FT free and other priorities it's completely fine to roll.

My team is strong for this week though so I would be rolling if I didn't do it hence taking the risk.

    1. Holmes

Will need some luck to have 3-4 transfers after WCing. WC30 also gives you more information about blanks and doubles.

Can’t see it tbh. Newcastle with a tasty double in 32 as well so you’d want to load up on the likes of Gordon, Hall, Murphy to go along Isak

    4. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years

Issues is you need to hedge your bets on FAC QF which is after GW29 and impacts future blank and doubles

    5. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years

Yeah but you have to gamble a bit on FA Cup semi-finalists - can work if e.g. loading up on triple City & Bournemouth and they get the DGW. Maybe better to WC a few weeks before 29, or roll 3-4 FTs before you WC, to cover getting Newcastle back in.

Villa's potential DGW (tied to City's) wouldn't be attractive enough to warrant double/tripling up imo (NEW mci). Not sure I'd touch the likes of Man Utd / Brighton even if they do double
