Isak, mateta and Cunha up front. Will be getting rid of Cunha and Mateta. Thinking Marmoush and Wood? Any advice?

City and Villa are scheduled to play one another in gw34. So it will only need one of them to go through to set up a dgw33 and blank gw34

Ah, so as they're drawn against each other one of them Def has to go thru? Hence both have a double then blank?

This is my take but I’m no Ben Crellin lol.

Villa got a draw against PNE but if they do progress their double game week will be NEW(h) and MCI(a)

Fulham Palace is 50/50. whichever progresses to semis though their doubles would be…
        Palace - BOU(h) and ARS(a)
        Fulham - CHE(h) and SOU(a)
Fulham’s double looks more appealing so hoping they win

Bournemouth v City if they progress doubles would be…
        Bournemouth - CRY(a) and MUN(h)
        City - EVE(a) and AVL(h)

I won’t comment on last fixture until game is over tomorrow.

Something to note is because Villa and City play each other in GW34 (FA semis weekend) only one of them needs to progress next round to confirm their doubles

Good post but you only have half the equation

eg if Fulham make the semis, Southampton equally likely to double GW33 and blank GW34

          1. MarcusAurelius
            • 10 Years

You’re right I realised this after I posted when I said I’d rather Fulham win. Palace winning would also give Arsenal a dgw of IPS(a) and CRY(h)

very happy with the draw for Fulham. As long as City get knocked out would make for some great semis and finals, everyone there would be desperate for silverware

said to my Dad today, whoever win this game (man Utd V Fulham), we (Palace), will play then away and make the semis as they are both weaker at home than away. 🙂

Bold statement, but i said it so i will post it here.

As Palace have possibly as DGW32/33andDGW34 if they progress, My (I am no Ben Crellin either) is I doubt Double DGW33 will go ahead regardless, if Palace did beat Fulham. It is 50/50.

Reason is before GW30 you have on Saturday/Sunday FA Cup GW. GW30 midweek, GW31 on wekkend, the DGW32 and then DGW33. That is 7 fixtures in 3 weeks. We are not in Europe.

It won't happen. (Or it shouldn't do) Palace would be knackered for the Semi Final and probably appeal for a midweek of GW30, if I was Steve Parish.

I believe that is the reason why they bought the Newcastle/Palace DGW forward.

No idea. I’ve just added up how many I could have in DGW33 if everything goes to form and I might not need to WC into BB.
      Plan A is WC32, BB33, FH34
      Alternative BB33, then either WC34, FH36 or FH34, WC35.
Would prefer to FH a double over a blank.

    A - Trent, Palmer & Isak > Gvardiol, Mbeumo & Haaland for -4.
B - Palmer & Isak > Haaland & Elanga (or other 6.8m or less mid)

    Pickford
    Gabriel - Trent - Milenkovic
    Dango -  Bowen - Kluivert - Mbeumo
