Goalkeeper
Mathew Hudson – Oldham Athletic vs Cheltenham Town (A)
In his eight games with the Latics since their promotion, Hudson has been a standout, keeping four shutouts (+20) and earning a total of 40 points. He’s currently on a streak of two consecutive shutouts and faces a Cheltenham side that has only scored three goals in that same period.
His ownership stands at 0.6%.
Defenders
Max Clark – Gillingham vs Newport County (A)
As the team’s primary set-piece taker, Clark has racked up 31 points in his last three games. He has contributed to two goals during that period, with one coming from the penalty spot.
The unbeaten Gills face Newport, who haven’t won since Gameweek 2. He’s selected by 0.7%.
Conor Shaughnessy – Portsmouth vs Sheffield Wednesday (H)
Looking for an alternative to Regan Poole (D)? Shaughnessy is backed by 1%, despite having the same total points as his defensive partner, 34.
Pompey face the Owls, who have lost four of their opening five, scoring just three times. Shaughnessy is yet to blank this season.
Midfielders
Lewis O’Brien – Wrexham vs Norwich City (A)
Despite Wrexham sitting 21st in the Championship, O’Brien has been a spark in midfield, averaging 7.8 points in five matches.
He’s recorded three goal contributions (+15), alongside further returns at both ends, and faces Norwich away, who have conceded four goals in two home matches, scoring just twice.
Returns at both ends are expected for the number 27, backed by 0.9%.
Adam Phillips – Barnsley vs Blackpool (A)
An alternative to ‘DKD’ in Barnsley’s midfield, Phillips is an underrated pick, selected by only 0.7% of players.
He’s in excellent form, averaging 6.9 points over his last seven games. He’s also been directly involved in five goals during that stretch, one of which came from the penalty spot.
With Barnsley’s attack averaging 2.0 goals per game and the Seasiders’ defence conceding 2.0 per game, this looks a favourable matchup.
Forwards
Devante Cole – Port Vale vs Mansfield Town (H)
Since joining the Valiants, Cole has been exceptional, averaging 9.5 points and contributing to three goals in just two games.
Darren Moore’s side are looking for their second victory of the season against Mansfield, who have conceded in all four of their away matches.
Kedeem Harris – Salford City vs Swindon Town (H)
With an ownership of just 0.1%, Harris is the lowest-owned player on this list.
He has been a consistent Fantasy performer, notching up five goal contributions in his last eight appearances, earning 36 points so far this season. He’s been particularly sharp recently, contributing to three goals in his last three games.
Despite sitting top of the table, Swindon’s defence has still been vulnerable, having conceded 10 goals in eight.
