    On a WC, considering Saka instead of Gyokeres. Better player, more involved. But no pens anymore. And managed minutes with Madueke.

    Just not liking Gyok at all.

      I'm reasonably confident Gyok will be a fine pick as I think he will be a bit of a flat track bully vs. poor teams
      Eze is probably my second fave
      Not convinced on the value with Saka, Madueke has shown his quality already and no pens

    After a grim season last season I'd assume I'd be back to normal this season, but here I am at 4m. Perhaps I'm just not very good at this damn game.

      I find this season extremely difficult. A bad rank 2 seasons in a row (or more ) don't make you a bad player, just an unlucky one 🙂

      Even many legendary managers are struggling this season. It's been a strange one with Liverpool attack going to crap, Villa being unable to score a goal, and Forest forgetting how to keep CSs.

      You got some players you would likely bench each week on that team, which cost too much. Eg when will you play or bench stach and Reijnders? Maybe downgraded one to have for the rare need but otherwise not have money hidden on bench

          If he stays at CB, yes.....but chance he moves to RB at some point. Not that Hume has done anything wrong to lose his place.

      Looking at the Liverpool forwards, Salah is the only 90 minute man playing for the best team in the league and on penalties.

      Is the play to have him and Haaland.

      Lots of value picks to allow both.

              I will have to make the move tonight if I do.

              Gyokeres to Haaland is a huge upgrade.

              Gakpo to Reijnders doesn’t feel to much different.

              Only negative is I will downgrade Virgil to a cheap defender.

              But to have Haaland and Salah looks worth it.

        I agree for now, but in a few weeks when teams with more expensive attacking assets like Arsenal & Newcastle have good fixture runs it becomes trickier.

          Easier to downgrade if needed for other assets.

          He’s still scoring when playing sub standard, if he starts to pick up he will be dangerous.

            I'm keeping this GW. I do feel some combination of Gyok/Gordon/Gabriel/Palmer etc in the following 4 or 5 GWs though outscores Mo & the type of dross I'd be shifting to bring them in though (Elliott/KDH/Lacroix etc), so that's what I'm weighing up.

        I strongly believe the play is to have both. The problem is apart from the defcon defenders there’s no obvious value in midfield and attack.

      Wildcard has essentially come down to this:
      A. Salah + Caicedo (+Foster on bench)
      B. Bruno/Saka + Gyokeres (Caicedo on bench)

      On B currently but seems very close

      Who need to go to make way for Haaland:

      A) Mateta
      B) Gyokeres

      When I did the wc last gw, the plan was to do Mateta to Haaland and downgrade Salah but the more I see of Gyokeres the less I like.. he’s more rotational risk than Mateta who plays 90 mins and is also on pens.

      Best combination of 4 on wc6, both options are capable to bring in Isak if fit.

      A) Vicario, J.Timber, Bruno, Gyökeres (1ft to bring in Isak)
      B) Raya, Andersen, Salah, Isidor (2ft to bring in Isak)

      Salah and Semenyo….changes afoot.
      Not been a fan of Salahs performances thus far but things have changed. Better eye test and much better xgi. Not an owner but now worried.
      Semenyo has been great but todays eye test wasnt great. Kluivert back will probs help create more chances of points in open play but he could lose pens. Im an owner but jurys slightly out.

      Cant believe im finding it so hard to find replacements but Wirtz and Watkins are dead to me, they need to go. I just don't know who to. I'd be taking a hit to get shut of both of them and the original plan was to go for Gyokeres but I'm wavering on him now. I could go Isak but not the greatest upcoming fixtures and minutes arent guaranteed.

      I already own Haaland and J Pedro. Any ideas? Got a total of 18.4m for a mid and striker.
      (Other mids are Kudus, Semenyo, KDH, Reijnders)

      Palmer to Salah and Ekitike to fodder? I feel like Salah is overpriced if not captain, but minutes safest in Liverpool attack.
