Gameweek 24 of Serie A Fantasy comes with an added twist, as both Milan and Como have a blank this round and won’t feature. With key assets unavailable, planning becomes even more important.

Below, we bring you team reveals from experienced managers, who share their transfers, captaincy picks, and strategy ahead of the deadline for Gameweek 24.

NOTES

  • Big decisions lie ahead. As things stand, injuries combined with the Milan-Como blank leave me with five unavailable outfield players this weekend. Even after using a transfer, I’d still line up with a maximum of 10 players, many of them facing poor fixtures. Because of that, I’m now leaning towards activating my final Wildcard/Rebuild Squad chip earlier than planned.
  • With Milan and Como set to double in Gameweek 25, the squad needs to perform across both the blank and the double. I’ll still be fielding 10 players to optimise for the double, but this time the balance of the squad feels far stronger. The restructure allows me to bring in Lautaro Martínez as a premium forward, which shapes the team far more effectively.
  • Looking further ahead, Fiorentina and Bologna also offer strong long-term fixtures. That makes it easy to lock in reliable options such as Nicolò Fagioli and Torbjorn Heggem, setting the team up well beyond the immediate Gameweeks.

NOTES

  • I have a few issues coming into Gameweek 24 besides the absence of my Como players, including injuries to Keinan Davis and Kenan Yıldız and concerns regarding Carlos Augusto’s minutes.
  • However, with Double Gameweek 25 now confirmed for Como and Milan, I am keen to have two free transfers available next week to bring in the likes of Adrien Rabiot and Strahinja Pavlović.
  • That means I will only use one free transfer this week, with one of Augusto or Davis likely to make way given I want to keep Yıldız long term (providing his injury isn’t serious).

NOTES

  • With two free transfers available this week, I have several ways to improve the squad. Players such as Riccardo Orsolini, Donyell Malen, and Robin Gosens have underwhelmed so far, but with bigger issues elsewhere, they’ll remain in the team for now.
  • Both Jean Butez and Nicolò Paz blank this week. However, the plan was always to navigate this round with 13 active players, so neither move feels necessary. Meanwhile, Keinan Davis and Kenan Yıldız both picked up knocks over the weekend. I’ll keep a close eye on their availability, with one of them likely to make way.
  • Crucially, I want to roll one free transfer to prepare for Milan assets ahead of their Double Gameweek 25. For this week, potential replacements include Domenico Berardi in midfield or Nicolò Zaniolo up front as a like-for-like swap for Davis.

NOTES

  • We have a Blank Gameweek for Milan and Como this week, then a double for them next week. Fortunately I don’t have any Milan, and only two Como. I’ll keep hold of the two Como players until next week.
  • I currently have two free transfers, but ideally I need to roll one for the double next week. This will give me the flexibility to bring in Milan players.
  • The one transfer I plan to use will have to go on Keinan Davis, who is out for a few weeks. In terms of replacements, there aren’t many who convince. I do have €3m in the bank, but I plan on saving that for upgrades next week.
  • With that in mind, I could be looking to Parma’s Mateo Pellegrino. who has good long-term fixtures, maybe Cremonese’s Jamie Vardy, who could be a cheaper fun season-keeper, or even Cagliari’s Sebastian Esposito, who costs a bit more.
