Joe’s highly popular ‘Goals Imminent’ statistics from the Members Area is the basis for this weekly article.

Heading towards Double Gameweek 26 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL), we try to identify some more underachieving players who look ‘due’ for a goal and/or assist.

Naturally, we’ll attempt to assess whether they’re unlucky, suffering a rare blip, or just aren’t particularly good.

LAST WEEK’S SUCCESSES

FPL new signings: Is Taty or Pablo the best West Ham forward pick?

Gameweek 25 went really well for these predictions. The top two names, Taty Castellanos (£5.5m) and Morgan Rogers (£7.6m), both netted on Saturday afternoon, joined by Tolu Arokodare (£5.4m) and Erling Haaland‘s (£14.9m) 11-point haul.

The latter entered with one goal in seven, but assisted Manchester City’s equaliser before scoring from the penalty spot.

Another spectacular Dominik Szoboszlai (£6.7m) free-kick put Liverpool ahead. He appeared on both tables, like Rogers, though received a late red card. The Hungarian is therefore missing Gameweek 26.

As for Crysencio Summerville (£5.6m), he is still ‘due’ an assist – and instead scored for the fourth match in a row.

1 FT and 0.4 ITB. Thinking about either Wilson or Szoboslai to Sarr but that would leave me with 6 blank players in 31. What would the best moves to make before this GW?
    Raya Dubravka
    Gabriel Timber Virgil Senesi Andersen
Bruno F Mbeumo Enzo Wilson Szoboslai
    Haaland Thiago Mane.

If the Burnley game in GW34 is a blank for City, do we know if it will move into GW33 or GW36? Will the Palace game go into the other spot? Makes a lot of difference as to whether I TC Gab or not, as I’ve already BBed so could do TC in 33 potentially

Worth noting that any future double won't be as rotation friendly, the spacing between games will be much tighter. That's not a worry for Bruno and probably Haaland, but in case of , say, Palmer, I wouldn't be confident he gets 180 minutes.

Terrible phrasing, meant to say it will be more rotation friendly.

So 3FTs? Don’t think that needs a WC in that case as long as you can get Arsenal defence cover. There’s good cheap mid options to move Cherki and/or Gakpo to so you can upgrade Dorgu

Yeah, selecting the correct one is the issue. I’ve been mighty tempted by Havertz. They could always play him
