    Morning chaps. Another red arrow pour moi, but Anderson bench jam limited the damage. It's basically Semenyo killing me every week. Like Wood did last season. A few random thoughts:

    1) J.Pedro is a buy and keep. Minutes secured, confident, in a top 3 attack (their defence is midtable though).
    2) Mbeumo could be a sell. Has looked slow and sloppy for weeks now.
    3) Bruno still the best asset in the game. Should have got 20pts last night
    4) Anderson is one of the best midfielders to own, regardless of price

        This is almost the Eliteserien thread now. B/G unconfirmed, but prolly blanking the first three weeks (currently just the first week). Two doubles so far, four and six. Park the bus is back, and there's high speculation that correct play of the chip will make or break your season. Cause it could gain you like 100 points.

    Saw Fabian Hürzeler's take on Arsenal and I agree.

    People argue "nobody remembers how you won, just how much you won" but I beg to differ.

    People still associate Chelsea's UCL run with the Mourinho bus, Leicester's miracle title with limited resources, Dortmund with Klopp.

    Now people will associate this title as the the worst in premier league history. In fairness, City signing Semenyo and Guehi to try to compete is just as anti-football but watching Arsenal play is just awful.

    This isn't just a problem created by Arsenal but football as a whole. We're moving towards a game where athleticism is a priority over ability so we need to make sure long-throws, taking too long for corners, time wasting, etc. does not remain.

      That’s why so many people want them to bottle it - because that at least will be entertaining.
      Will Arsenal fans care? - doubt it.

        Unfortunately I do think people will remember. Even as a Liverpool fan, not many will forget Gerrard's slip.

        Anytime people bring up the worst title win, they will be mentioned.

        I have a family member that supports Derby County and the amount of times the commentators mentioned that they have the record for lowest points (from 2007) when discussing Wolves is wild.

        As an Arsenal fan though, I'd want to win at any cost this season and then hope the club plays more attractive football going forward.

        Every player gathers the ball in now, 2 or 3 touches. Slows the game down terribly and saps the flow of energy. Not just Arsenal it's almost every team. Bournemouth at their best still play pre-pademic football.

        Without seeing your full squad it's difficult to say
        A If you have Bruno but not Seymenyo
        B Is in poor form & is the weakest option check Wilson's fitness or KDH/Garner
        C Is a possible keep if you have a strong bench

        Pedro's mins over the last 10 GWs prior to this one:
        27, 61, 15, 73, 84, 45, 74, 90, 79, 90

        This is the reason why I missed his treasure trove of points. I think the lesson to take from this is to be a little more flexible with minutes, and not to discount a player's immense talent just because they have shaky gametime.

        Lesson learned.

          You missed the more important point is that he's returned in 6/7 of the last games. A man in form especially a forward should not be discounted.

          Had Pedro for the fixture swing then took him out v ARS for Thiago anticipating a haul v BUR. Pobably my worst decision of my season.
          I thought Pedro looked incredible v ARS and knew i had to bring him back in but thought i could wait another week assumined Villa could defend.

            2 GW's ago I brought in Palmer, Semenyo, Thiago for -8.
            Rolled last week.
            Used my 2 FT this week to remove Palmer & J.Pedro for Dango & Ekitike...

                I guess Sanchez dropped for foreseeable future then? Was going to use my bench boost but also contending with using transfers for the blank. Believe it or not I’ve only had one GK clean sheet all season and that was a free hit! Sels > Martinez > Sanchez has been an unlucky sequence (even had Martinez the week he got subbed at half time to dodge clean sheet pints!!)
