After careful consideration of our Scout Squad submissions from Louis, Danny, Merlin and Jack, we have finalised our Fantasy EFL Gameweek 33 Scout Picks.

This week, teams across the Championship, League One and League Two play twice.

These picks are based on the highest-selected players from our resident experts.

FANTASY EFL GAMEWEEK 33 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

Between the posts, Jake Eastwood stands out as a very reliable option this week. Cambridge United have shown they can be solid defensively, and when they do keep things tight at the back, Eastwood tends to benefit with steady Fantasy returns. All four of our experts highlighted Eastwood this week.

DEFENDERS

At the back, Omar Sowunmi remains one of the standout options available. Bromley’s defensive strength makes their defenders extremely valuable, and Sowunmi offers the added bonus of real goal threat from set pieces. Every member of the panel prioritised Sowunmi for the round ahead.

Another defender worth serious consideration is Adam Senior. His attacking involvement sets him apart from many defensive options, having already found the net multiple times this season. When combined with decent clean-sheet prospects, he becomes a very appealing pick this week.

MIDFIELDERS

Few midfielders in the game offer as consistent a route to points as Lewis Wing. His influence on the pitch is huge, contributing through goals, assists, and set pieces, which continues to make him one of the most reliable assets available. Due to his popularity among our experts, he also takes the captaincy armband.

Alongside him, Oliver Norwood also catches the eye. The Stockport County midfielder benefits from penalty-taking duties and tends to be heavily involved in his side’s attacking play, making him a strong option whenever fixtures are favourable. Two of our four contributors selected Norwood this week.

Another midfielder capable of delivering big returns is Marcus Browne. He has already shown the ability to produce double-digit hauls and, with strong attacking involvement, he remains a dangerous option going into this round. He too was favoured by two members of the panel.

FORWARDS

Up front, Dominic Ballard looks like one of the most exciting attacking picks available. Our panel found it difficult to agree on a striker pick this week but Ballard was mentioned by half of our experts. He heads into this double off the back of scoring a brace.

TEAM PICKS

Looking at team selections, Bromley once again stand out as one of the best picks. Their defensive record and overall consistency make them a very strong option this week.

Another team firmly on the radar is Barnet, who also have fixtures that could allow them to produce returns. With both defensive potential and attacking threat, they look like a solid choice for managers targeting team points.
