We spoke to current Fantasy Premier League (FPL) world number one Erik Ibsen this week!

The Danish medical student and Everton fan is, amazingly, playing his first ever season of FPL, although he is an avid follower of Premier League football and has played other Fantasy formats before.

Erik joined Mo on our YouTube channel to discuss his early transfer plans for Gameweek 32, chip strategy, potential Double Gameweeks and more.

      Considering his captaincy options at the start of the season (Tarkowski, Raya, Guehi) it would be a little bit disappointing that those kind of choices pay off but he did captain Bruno/Haaland most weeks and it is just how FPL works I guess

    I don't buy that OR1 is 1st season. Very active on Twatter giving advice etc. Using language in this video like dead ending that a novice would not be using. That gameweek 1 team looks like a 1st season player and then something changed. Is it even him picking the team since? Very strange. Suspect he does not win as he's benefitted from an abnormally large 1st bench boost vs the field which inflates the score a bit

      I have zero doubts about anything he said during the interview. As he said, he's played other fantasy football before and already follows the EPL since he was young, has an analytical approach to the game and has done his research. It's good a No.1 comes on and discusses his team before the season is over. Why all the badmouthing?

    The universe is a perfect self sustaining model. Just put out some protons and eletrons there, they'll fuse to form hydrogen and helium and whatnot, which will again fuse to form other larger structures. Whoever the creator of this place is, I have to give credit to him for this model which gives unlimited output with such simple inputs. Well done, lad.

      The order in the universe is amazing. Everything on earth to sustain life is unbelievable. Just one imbalance in any of the millions of things on earth and the life would have never sustained

        Not just earth, but of the entire universe. The strength of gravity, the initial state of entropy. Any different and the universe wouldn't be here. Though you could argue there are other universes which collapsed while ours sustained.

    Here we go again. GW 30/31 wildcards last season, GW 32/33/34 bench boosts/triple captains/free hits. Underwhelming, catch the random haul, season over.

    Chips 1st half of the season make perfect sense, even the CCs are tired now (recommending double Newcastle defense).
