We look set to get our first Fantasy Premier League (FPL) prices on Wednesday.

FPL have asked Fantasy managers to vote for whose price they want revealed from the following 10 names:

  • Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (EVE)
  • Emersonn (IPS)
  • Bruno Fernandes (MUN)
  • Gabriel Magalhaes (ARS)
  • Erling Haaland (MCI)
  • James Hill (BOU)
  • Caoimhin Kelleher (BRE)
  • Victor Munoz (LIV)
  • Ismaila Sarr (CRY)
  • Marcos Senesi (TOT)

Voters are only allowed to nominate one of the above names and have to do so by 12pm BST on Wednesday 22 July.

FPL will then reveal the prices of the three players who get the most votes. You’d imagine that would be Gabriel Magalhaes, Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland, although there may be some curiosity over Marcos Senesi and Victor Munoz after their summer moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

You can cast your vote here.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland will be in the vast majority of teams regardless of price, so my vote goes to KDH if he's 6.0m like FPL are predicting he will be straight in my team, Senesi probably would be at 4.5m well, but that is surely not going to be correct.

I think you’ll find them pricing it so that, if you do have all 3 of them in your team, the rest of it is going to be fairly mid.

Haaland and Bruno prices look generous to me.

If Bruno is 12.5m or 13m and Boomo is 8'ish it's a tricky decision, can see Bryan scoring big next season and it's a heck of a saving on premium Man U 'assets'

I reckon Haaland 15m, Bruno 13m, with the paucity in form of Saka and Cole last season these two have to be punchily priced. Gabriel is tricky, I agree he should be 8m but maybe 7.5m.

Shouldn't be an Arsenal defender under 6.5m

      Sounds about right
Be interesting to try a team without any of them

I wonder what Mark has decided to do with the prices? He's always advocated high prices that force people to make tough decisions to make a team.

That’s where I think it’s going to go.

I hope so because most of the changes they do is to make the game easier - more chips, extra transfers for Afcon, price change warnings. Given the avalanche of advice on varoius media people can get a decent score nowadays with hardly any effort at all, not good.

    https://reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/comments/1v2mv3q/i_recalculated_every_fpl_bonus_point_from_202526/

Someone recalculated the bonus points from last season using this season's rules, for anyone who's interested.

TL;DR - "The 2026/27 BPS changes are a rebalancing, not a nerf. The rules mostly move bonuses around rather than remove them: roughly +69 to midfielders, forwards and full-backs, -77 from center-backs."

I wish they were bringing in something akin to the scouting bonus in the World Cup fantasy game. An extra little bonus for picking away from the template would be fun...

Yeah I said the same. Up the threshold to 10% to account for the fewer options, and lock the percentage to when you bought the player, similar to how prices work.

I wish they would drop absolutely everything except for one wildcard a season and put that man back in the stand for the baps.

Now that was when FPL was fun and not the thief of time it has become.

      Thank you.

They should deduct points from all teams that have excessive numbers of clones.

Would have like defcons to be maybe 1 point for every 6 defcons.
    2 points for 12 instead of 10
    3 points for 18

This is the most exciting period of FPL for me every year.

A few things FPL could/should have done

Move the deadline to the kick off of the first game. Feel uneasy and a bit deflated we are still have to deal with people getting an advantage with leaks. UCL and World Cup fantasy show it can be done and it levels the playing field and frankly is actually enjoyable dealing with the team in the final hour with all info at hand.

Introduce points for tackles (Rather than interceptions) for mids, World Cup game worked perfectly, entices you to go for alternative options. Interceptions are a bit blurry, what is an interception in fpl terms? Tackles a bit more conclusive perhaps,

It was mentioned above but scouting bonus, encourage people to pick hidden gems, either 5-10% as the threshold, would work very well

Remove defcon, decent innovate try last season but I don't think it works. It's a nightmare trying to understand what counts as deacons, just add an additional point for a clean sheet and an extra point for a goal from a defender to make them more desirable

Change the chips, the same boring chips every season. Is there no creativity here? UCL and World Cup games are level ahead with their choice of chips which are refreshing. Having 2 sets of chips also a bit too much. I get they want to keep people engaged but there are other ways, e.g. tweaking other parts of the game.

Make the price changes and bonus points more transparent, it seems price changes and bonus point decisions appear to happen without any logic.

Stop people from creating multiple accounts, with ai/bots you will have higher number of people with multiple teams (potentially hundreds). Ability to identify users who do this and ban them? Or maybe they won't do this as it helps inflate the numbers for the people playing the game?

More stats on FPL page relating to FPL points. Ability to compare players stats. If you want to sustain being the top game use the data you have available and incorporate it into FPL.

Upgrade the servers. I am no tech expert here but this is happened for many years and never resolved. Surely it's one of the first things you should be looking to improve as it disrupts the actual enjoyment of the game. It's ridiculous how many times the servers go down before a big deadline. It. Also, why does it take hours to update after the deadline, UCL and World Cup fantasy updates in a few minutes.

Rather than price releases, just release the game. Unveiling prices for what? Perhaps it's to get more social media discussion, I understand this I guess but would be nice just to get the game released rather than feeding prices (I hate spoilers - rather just get it in one go)

For me, the server issues and the deadline for me are probably 2 of the most important things I would have liked the effort being geared towards.

UCL points takes hours to update and lock. Usually around 1-2 AM they are ready and you can do subs.

      World Cup does not.

I do not think they'll do the price drops all at once.
