New for the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season, Fantasy Football Scout’s Rate My Team tool helps managers assess their squads using projected points.

Whether you’re comparing different drafts or reviewing your latest team, the tool provides a detailed breakdown of your squad over multiple Gameweeks.

In this guide, we’ll explain what each section shows and how to interpret the information available.

UPLOADING YOUR TEAM

Getting started is straightforward.

Simply take a screenshot of your squad from the official FPL app using either the Pick Team or List View screen. You can then upload the image using the drag-and-drop area on the Rate My Team page.

The tool will automatically recognise all 15 players before analysing your squad using Fantasy Football Scout’s projected points model.

If you prefer, you can also build your squad manually instead of uploading a screenshot.

VIEWING YOUR TEAM RATING

Once your squad has been analysed, the tool generates an overall team rating.

The rating uses Fantasy Football Scout’s projected points model to assess your squad over your chosen time period. Rather than focusing on a single Gameweek, it allows you to compare different squad structures over both the short and long term.

It’s a quick way to see how your current team compares before making any changes.

PLAYER PROJECTIONS

Every player in your squad also receives an individual projected score.

These projections consider several factors, including expected minutes, fixture difficulty and overall attacking or defensive potential. As new information becomes available throughout the season, the projections will update accordingly.

You can learn more about the underlying numbers on the Rate My Team projections page.

POSITIONAL BREAKDOWN

The tool also breaks your squad down by position.

This makes it easy to compare the strength of your goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards. It can also highlight areas that may need improving before the next deadline.

Rather than looking only at your overall score, the positional breakdown gives another way to assess the balance of your squad.

PLANNING AHEAD

The Rate My Team tool isn’t limited to a single Gameweek.

You can view projections across different time periods, making it easier to assess fixture swings and compare different squad structures over the coming weeks.

This helps when planning transfers or deciding whether to back short-term fixtures or longer-term picks.

USING THE DRAFT TOOL

After reviewing your team rating, you can continue planning in the Draft Tool.

The Draft Tool allows you to build and compare different squad structures before finalising your team. Together, the two features provide an easy way to test ideas and see how different combinations affect your projected points.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The Rate My Team tool brings Fantasy Football Scout’s projected points model into one place, making it easier to assess your squad throughout the season.

Whether you’re reviewing your latest draft or comparing different team structures, the Rate My Team and Draft Tool work together to support your planning ahead of every FPL deadline.
