Saudi Fantasy continues, with Round 2 getting underway on Thursday.
With the deadline fast approaching, we’ve asked several of our Fantasy experts to reveal their latest teams and explain the thinking behind their selections.

- I’ve already made an early transfer this week, with my £4.5m option making way for Al Hammani. Looking back, I probably should’ve just started the season with him.
- Ideally, that will be my only move and I can comfortably roll from here. However, there are rumours surrounding Ivan Toney’s availability, which is something to monitor before the deadline.
- Toney is the standout captaincy option for me this round, so I’m hoping those rumours prove to be wide of the mark. If more reliable information emerges suggesting he’ll miss out, I’ll either take a hit to replace him or consider using Wildcard 2, as I did last season.
- The Park the Bus chip didn’t work out as hoped, but I still like most of the defenders in my squad for this round, so there’s no need for major changes there.

- There we go – here’s my team for Round 2. I’ve decided to roll my transfer this week, mainly with the Round 3 Blank in mind. Keeping the extra transfer gives me more flexibility and should put me in a stronger position to navigate the Blank Gameweek.
- Ivan Toney keeps the captaincy for another round and remains the player I’m backing to deliver. At the back, Mohammed Al-Shamat also starts despite a slight concern over his readiness. There are a few players in this team I’m particularly confident about this week, so hopefully they can deliver. For now, I’m happy to keep the squad intact and carry the transfer forward.

NOTES
- I’m going into Round 2 without making any transfers, keeping exactly the same squad and starting XI.
- Julián Quiñones takes the captaincy this week against Al-Ittihad. Their defensive weaknesses make this an appealing matchup, and I think Quiñones has every chance of getting among the goals.
- With no changes needed elsewhere, I’m happy to stick with the team and back Quiñones to deliver as captain.

- I’ll most likely roll my transfer this week, providing there are no late issues before the deadline. The main concern is Ivan Toney. If he is confirmed out, I’ll definitely sell him, with Gaetan Laborde or Nunez currently my preferred replacements.
- For managers looking to make a transfer this week, I particularly like players from Al-Nassr, Al-Diriyah and Al-Ahli.
- Captaincy will stay on Toney if he is fit. If he misses out, Sadio Mané or Karim Benzema are my leading alternatives for the armband.
