SUMMARY
Cole Palmer (£9.7m) currently leads the attacking returns projections for Gameweek 6 with 0.85, ahead of Bruno Fernandes (£11.9m), Bukayo Saka (£9.6m) and Erling Haaland (£15.6m).
Palmer faces a clean-sheet-less Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea carrying the second-highest team goals projection (2.04). His fitness remains a slight concern, although recent updates on his recovery appear more positive than those surrounding João Pedro (£7.7m).
Fernandes has an attractive home fixture against Spurs, who have conceded eight goals in five matches. The Manchester United talisman has delivered attacking returns in just one league match so far, but ultimately, he’s still the second-best FPL midfielder for xGI this season.
Saka, the one midfielder ahead of Bruno, has enjoyed a strong start to the season, scoring three league goals. Arsenal also top the team goals projections ahead of their home meeting with Leeds United.
Haaland completes the top four ahead of Manchester City’s trip to Liverpool. The Norwegian has scored five league goals already, and he seems to be injury-free despite a recent scare.
Further down, Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) and João Pedro feature prominently. However, Pedro’s injury makes him a concern ahead of the deadline, with managers awaiting further news on his availability.
Alexander Isak (£9.1m) is another popular pick whose fitness needs monitoring, despite scoring four league goals so far.
Newcastle duo Harvey Barnes (£6.1m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.2m) also feature in the top 15.
