There’s one more Premier League game to come today: Nottingham Forest v Manchester City.

Kick-off at the City Ground is at 17:30 GMT.

TEAM NEWS

Despite last Saturday’s post-game rant and pledge to “change things”, Oliver Glasner has made only two alterations to his Forest XI.

Daniel Munoz and Ryan Yates come into the side, with Ola Aina and Dan Ndoye making way.

Munoz had only been on the bench in Gameweek 9 for fitness reasons.

As for the visitors, Enzo Maresca makes three alterations to the side that beat RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku come in for Matheus Nunes, Nico O’Reilly and Phil Foden.

It means that Marc Guehi and Rayan Cherki both start, having dropped to the bench in City’s last Premier League outing.

LINE-UPS

Nottingham Forest XI: Sels, Munoz, Cunha, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams, McAtee, Yates, Schlager, Gibbs-White, Delap.

Subs: Victor, Diomande, Netz, Sangare, Hudson Odoi, Ndoye, Wood, Jesus, Kalimuendo.

Manchester City XI: Donnarumma, Khusanov, Dias, Guehi, Gvardiol, Anderson, Fernandez, Ndiaye, Cherki, Doku, Haaland.

Subs: Rulli, Kovacic, Reis, Nunes, Bouaddi, O’Reilly, Allan, Foden, Lewis.

City finished. They all thinking where they will be next season. Maybe time to sell Haaland soon.

    1. Imagine all their stars still stay and just fire them back up in 7-8 years

City offering absolutely nothing. Forest all over them. Finally cashing in on their xG.

Think Foden stays with City in the championship? I can see it.

    1. I think they will at stay tbf as money there to pay them

      1. But actually hope for United board to be sacked and City owners move over to United!

How about City & United to merge into just one club

          1. Nah let City suffer with no money or investment and lower league football!

To be fair to them, they’ve already been down that road decades ago.

Nah. City will still have more money to spend than the average Championship club, but they will lose a massive amount of TV money and sponsors. The owners can’t just inject cash, they can only spend 85% of club revenue. Almost all current City players bar academy ones will be gone. Do think Foden will stay on cut wages though.

        1. Feel like they’d have enough money to keep current players on wages just not be able to sign more

They couldn’t afford this club in the PL without cheating, let alone in the championship lol. Everyone is going.

            1. What about if players want to stay though

Most or none actually have relegation clauses which is pretty funny. Pretty terrible foresight from agents considering some players like Ndiaye and Enzo only recently signed with them with this verdict looming.

A player could stay, but probably on large wage cut. But what top player would want to waste a year in the championship, miss out on Europe etc.

It would also seriously damage the player as an asset moving forward imo. Think about it, if a good city player went down to the championship and then city came straight back up, what would that player be worth then? Sure he was good in the championship, but that doesnt tell you how he would have done in the PL. He would probably lose like half of his value or something until he proves himself at highest level again.

Foden will stay because of his local barber.

First they conned stupid money out of MU for Mount and now out of City for Enzo. Chelsea are sneaky.

  17. City probably won't score because I finally sold Neco Williams

was hoping (c)alafiori would get an attacking return against a low block at home. spent most of the game in the opposition box

was a good oppourtuiny to get one over Haaland cappers. haaland will probably end up with a similar score but cant see double digits for him

I can't help but link the upturn to Glasner's fiery interview. He said he's going to change things and make zero comprimises. This might be the real Forest now. They finished 7th in 2025, and have been showing strong underlying numbers.
