There’s one more Premier League game to come today: Nottingham Forest v Manchester City.

Kick-off at the City Ground is at 17:30 GMT.

TEAM NEWS

Despite last Saturday’s post-game rant and pledge to “change things”, Oliver Glasner has made only two alterations to his Forest XI.

Daniel Munoz and Ryan Yates come into the side, with Ola Aina and Dan Ndoye making way.

Munoz had only been on the bench in Gameweek 9 for fitness reasons.

As for the visitors, Enzo Maresca makes three alterations to the side that beat RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku come in for Matheus Nunes, Nico O’Reilly and Phil Foden.

It means that Marc Guehi and Rayan Cherki both start, having dropped to the bench in City’s last Premier League outing.

LINE-UPS

Nottingham Forest XI: Sels, Munoz, Cunha, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams, McAtee, Yates, Schlager, Gibbs-White, Delap.

Subs: Victor, Diomande, Netz, Sangare, Hudson Odoi, Ndoye, Wood, Jesus, Kalimuendo.

Manchester City XI: Donnarumma, Khusanov, Dias, Guehi, Gvardiol, Anderson, Fernandez, Ndiaye, Cherki, Doku, Haaland.

Subs: Rulli, Kovacic, Reis, Nunes, Bouaddi, O’Reilly, Allan, Foden, Lewis.

This is the Delap we saw against Villa. When he's good, he's really good. Just needs a bit of consistency.

Just a friendly word of advice - many of your posts say "if you'd listened to me", or similar. It comes across as patronising and it's why you get no interactions. I've read some of your posts, although most are way too long, and would be better submitted as articles. Some is decent advice, and some is not. You've not really developed the legitimacy on here to keep saying "if you'd listened to me" etc. Just saying "in my opinion" is a better phrase to use.

Cheers for the suggestion. We are all grownups here and who would know we are sharing suggestions or stating facts which should not patronising to anyone rational v emotional. If my suggestion have been correct so far on the whole, that is the legitimacy. Aim is to make the correct call on players more often than not.
PS.I am not on here to gain interactions but thanks for assuming that.

For the mature ones out there, If what I say work and you listen to it, good. If you choose not to, let it fly;-p It is your team that will either gain or lose, PLAY THE GAME not your emotions.

They should add interest into the game - earn a bit of interest each week for money saved in the bank.

Not really serious about that idea, but could be an interesting concept!

I don't think it would harm the game. Could be trialed for a season. Probably a pretty low interest rate, but just enough to make it saving some money worthwhile.

Wouldn't really work right now though with the distinct lack of premiums. But if we finally get back to 4/5 premiums, it could shake things up.

I think I do best in FPL when I follow my gut or initial thoughts. So much noise these days from content creators and template picks. Its hard not to get swayed by it, even subconsciously.

My start this season is to mainly go with what I initially think at the start of the gameweek, before I consume any content.

Isak hasn't played this week, and he may be a cap fail, but in content creator polls I didn't even see Isak as a poll option most of the time.

Palace have been trash, most conceded chances or something in the league, and Pool were pretty attacking last week. So I'm not sure why he wasn't in most of their polls. Especially when Arsenal defenders were..

      Open Controls
      1. Utopsis

        Exactly this.

After getting Isak, I really wanted to cap him. But last time I went against Haaland I was punished. Then I heard that Haaland scored loads of goals against Glasner's Palace last few seasons, and my gut was killed.

In GW8, my gut said Palmer (C) - mega fail, - 1. GW6, gut said Bruno (C) against a struggling Spurs - they decide to turn their season around that day. Both times, punished richly as popular picks all returned.

But you're right, I'm going to stop overthinking, that's way more time and mental-capacity consuming and is zapping the fun out of football atm. Time to take it less seriously!

        1. have you seen cyan

More fun if its all your own thinking. Most of the time you already call what the template will do anyway.

It is however still hard to go against massive EO when it comes to captains. I still bottle differential caps a lot.

    City in trouble

Donnarumma has affected playing out from the back

Build up play has been negatively affected

City lose when Nunez is kept out

Enzo - Anderson midfield doesn't work

Manager dying on the Enzo hill - refuses to drop him

Doku being played on touchline doesn't work

Did you see the teams they beat ?

        Mostly bottom half fodder

Against the top 10 they're now struggling
