Here’s our regular update on the competition, featuring a look at the Matchday 1 games that took place over Gameweek 31. We also have some fun handing out some Matchday Awards and a look ahead to Matchday 2. Please use this article for all tournament chat.

MATCHDAY 1 RESULTS

The final Matchday 1 results have been updated in the Cup spreadsheet and we can reveal that after a hard-fought first round, England and South Africal top Groups A and B respectively. Among the most eye catching ties was the FFScout moderators and contributors dominated Sri Lanka side’s narrow 948-942 defeat to New Zealand. Congratulations to all the victorious teams and a reminder to those that lost that there is a long long way to go.

Rory and Harrington not doing well and neither seem to be playing in the spirit of the event. Very emotional with their behaviour. Really struggling to handle the attacking play of the more spirited players.
