I only really have reservations about getting rid of Silva for Sterling.

Despite what many on here try to claim, there is no right or wrong way to go. Both are risky, and we won't know until afterwards which was the right option. But to me, DGWs are DGWs, go big or go home, I;ve missed out on big hauls in the last 2 DGWs for being too conservative.Reading all that makes me a little happy that all i have is 2 FTs to play with 🙂 .. i'd prob go mad making decisions and restructuring my whole team. i find it far easier sticking with players like mane/kane/silva etc cause i have no other options rather than being given the option to remove them with ease and live in regret. Giroud over kane for me .. so i agree with your move though

Seeing as top 4 and all cups are over, I'd consider finishing outside a europa league spot + getting Klopp as a double bonus.
We don't have to go crazy in the summer like people are suggesting. We need 4 first teamers but can sign 2 real quality players who make a difference. There's so many players we have at our disposal whereby for reasons BR only knows, aren't playing in their positions/at the club: Markovic Ilori Can Balotelli Sakho. Klopp is a perfect fit and I keep banging on about it but there's a tipping point when you spend so much money on your team each week.0 chance of Klopp
We mirror Dortmund as a club and as a fan base, on a tight budget and he said he'd move to a team with tradition. Only Man U, Arsenal, Pool fit his bill and the first 2 aren't going to change managers. The worst can happen is Klopp says no, but he'd be very tempted at least.

In theory, any of the big teams have tradition. Man City have been around for a very long time, can call that tradition.
My biggest issue is that if he wanted a club the same as Dortmund, he'd stay at Dortmund. He has had 7 years of developing players only to lose them to bigger teams, of working under financial constraints and fighting to keep the club performing. I cannot see why he would sign up to do that exact same thing again.Can't disagree there. Worth the try at least. I just want Brendan gone because there are at least 3 upgrades we can get.

He's a very sought after manager (rightly or wrongly, nobody really knows how he'll do outside of Germany). So there are going to be an awful lot of teams going after him I think, Pool have to offer a lot to beat them away.
Aye, there are. And you know I've been critical of him in the past. But there is more going on at the club, financial restrictions can only get you so far. Occasionally you will have a great season, but for real consistency the spending has to begin. At least in the PL, places like the Bundesliga have much smaller wage structures so it's all quite different there.

Pool need to get their finger out, but I'm not even sure where they can start with the bloated squad they blew the Suarez money on. Selling a number of them, perhaps. Changing the transfer policy as well. Wages have to change massively. You won't lure a 200k a week player with 100k and no Champions League. You have to, at the very least, over big money to make up for it.And I'm not saying that is a good thing, btw. I dislike how much money is taking over the game.
