It’s not often that we get to spend a good portion of the ScoutCast discussing Leicester City’s rich array of Fantasy talent.

That’s how this week’s episode pans out, as Luke aka “D1sable” does his George Boyd act to come off the bench and join myself, Granville and Jonty to analyse the impending double Gameweek.

We tackle the usual ScoutCast regulars, whilst deflecting the latest round of questions from the community, assessing the great Foxes hunt, the Hazard versus Sterling gamble and even how we can possibly eek out a valid target amongst the Hull City squad. Meanwhile, Granville is dreaming of a three-digit points bonanza as he joins the world’s number one in activating his belated FPL Wildcard.

This week’s episode was beamed out live on Monday evening via Google Hangouts. You can catch the full fat version via the player below.

For those who prefer a more refined, fine dining version, you’ll need to click this link or use the smaller player below for the edited MP3 audio.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and Google Plus page to keep informed of when future ScoutCast hit the screen.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Good morning folks. It's 7:55 a.m. where I live and good day to all of you.

Only just activated my wildcard as I have been terribly busy all week. Hope I'm able to gather some feedback on this lot below.

    Myhill
    Terry* / Skrtel* / Schlupp*
    Hazard* / Fabregas* / Sterling* / King*
    Aguero / Kane / Vardy*

Guzan / Sanchez / van Aanholt / Yoshida

    Bank: 1.6m

8 DGW-ers starting altogether, leaving 2 future DGW-ers on the bench.

You want 3 Liverpool and 3 Chelsea. Double Chelsea defence is the better option and double Liverpool midfield.

Yoshida to Alderweireld and you're set!

Also, how do you plan to bring in Giroud for his DGW?

I am most likely downgrading Fabregas to a mid-range midfielder. At this stage, my team value cannot match those above 106m so I can't really have all four 9.5m+ midfielders in the lineup. There's gotta be one mid-range so I'm looking Fabregas looks the likelier candidate, then that allows me to upgrade Vardy's spot.

I'd like to have Ramsey as the 3rd, though there's a voice behind whispered Ozil's name! 😀

I am also leaving some funds in the bank if I'm really set my sight on bringing in Giroud, though. I feel Yoshida should suffice for Southampton's defense.

I haven't kept my tabs on Yoshida so much. I do know they played Yoshida, Fonte and Alderweireld all together, but how long has it been that way?

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Yoshida at fault for one of the goals conceded against Stoke cause of some poor Ball control? Or was it a Big Chance being missed by Stoke? I do remember something like that happened.

😆 Not sure myself. I think this is the first season I didn't really put much focus on since my debut in 2011, and surprisingly and ironically, this is the best season of all my FPL seasons.

I didn't watch the highlights but I don't think he will be relegated to the bench for that one mistake.

I do think, that for a team who's strength is defense, one mistake could for a defender could really have him benched. And knowing Koeman, he wants discipline, so I wouldn't bet my money on it.

Looks pretty handsome Grounderz, good balance of each side in each line. You wouldn't be tempted to look at Mignolet as a GK option?

Thanks TE. He was in the draft but didn't feel comfortable doubling up the Liverpool defense. Pairing those two GKs up allows me some cash in the bank for future DGW transfers.

If it weren't for the DGWs, I don't think King will be in my WC team. Myhill and Yoshida might be shipped out for others. I have until 6:30 p.m. where I live so I think I will keep tinkering with more info to search on.

No ... I just don't like the thug fans that do things such as hissing at the Spurs fans, etc. I understand this type of activity is a big part of English football, I just don't like it ... and for some reason Chelsea fans seem to be the worst at it. Well some of them anyways, I'm sure there are plenty of polite and convivial fans out there too. Can't argue with their success in the last decade either. 🙂

It's Fabregas vs Ivan and Sanchez vs Giroud.

Then I get Sanchez and lose Ivan in the first scenario and in the other I get Ramsey (never Giroud). Then Ozil in the first and Ramsey in the second, The second is playing catch up but always has Giroud and Ivan in the beginning instead of Fabregas

Thanks all. Eriksen and Puncheon/Fellaini make sense. Although if I sell Punch I have to buy Moreno instead of Skrtel.

Hey folks, is 6 DGWers with -4 hit enough or should I bring one more? -8 too much?

    Also, start Krul or Davis?

    Krul (Davis)

    Ivan* Skrtel* Wollscheid (PvA, Bellerin)
    Haz* Fab* Sterling* Silva (Cork)
    Vardy* Aguero Kane

It'll probably come down to Silva, but I'm not sure I want to get rid... Especially for a hit.

Leicester defender or Migs? Hmm, not sure.

Didn't see this in the tweets or in the last few pages so not sure if it was already mentioned.

Looks like Lallana is ready to comeback this weekend, so not sure how that will affect the rest of the Liverpool lineup. Would be pretty amusing if he is the one that goes off this DGW.

I think if you had to chose between the two this is a no-brainer ... Spurs (despite their win last week) have been horrible and are on holidays already. Kane's form has dropped a bit, whilst Murray is one of the, if not THE, in-form strikers in the competition, at home to Hull.

In the same boat. Was all set on benching Kane until I rewatched the SOUvsSTK game. Davis looked really physically intimidated, a bit shaky and unsure all game. The goals he let in were pretty weak. Possibility Kane could smell blood and have a decent game.

Yea the problem is Kane will shoot if he gets a yard of space anywhere in 18. Obviously Southampton has been solid all year defensively but it clearly seems like they don't trust Davis very much back there. Tough call.

Let me know what you decide. Murray is a differential compared to Kane. Murray is playing at home, and I expect Crystal Palace to bounce back.

          Will he outscore Kane though?

If he is back in training, and there was no fracture at all I personally think Silva will be good to go this weekend.

I think the injury looked more scary that it turned out to be. A fracture would require surgery and he would be out for season. Definitely not the case here though.

    austin aguero

I went with austin cuz i believe even though he has one less fixture he can outscore vardy because burnley away may be tuff and if chelsea does win against arsenal they may go for the kill against leicester. Thats just my logic. just need some advice though, should i start jag against manu (jag tends to have a thing for scoring in these games) orrr shud i start rose against southampton. thanks guys
