        Currently 35 left.
40% this week so bottom 14 or equal.
Not sure on the last 3 GWs for %s.
How many do you think is best for the final GW in GW37?

Oh I'm not sure not good at these things, So that would leave 21 left in 35 so I guess 11 out to leave 10 left in 36 or 16 out to leave 5.

            Still 3 GWs to go.
Might be down to 20 this week.
Doing 45/50% in the next 2 will leave 3 to 5 for the final GW.
Something like 21/11/5 is the easy solution if only one on the bottom score.

Not sure 5 in the final GW is the best fit. 3 or 4 would be ideal.

After benching Kane this week I'm tempted to do it again and play Vardy vs Newcastle.

I may even transfer Kane out for Giroud.

    Anyone else with similar ideas?

I'm thinking about Remy, Kane -> Giroud, Benteke for a -4

Vardy in decent form. Newcastle couldn't be in worse form.

Kane to Giroud. You don't need Kane till GW37 at the earliest and probably not even then because Wickham/Defoe/Austin could well be better options.

Vardy can play 35 for sure and possibly 36 as well. Essentially you want strikers from whoever is playing Newcastle. I think they may even get relegated.

            I'd need a -4 together Giroud.

Tempted to just bench Kane for now and do something like Fabregas to Ramsey to start collecting arsenal players

Although at some point I'll need a -4 for Giroud anyway and rival has him so maybe I should just do it now

Well he'll start increasing in price, I don't know if that matters. I already have him (benched this week) so I have an easier move next week of Fabregas to Sanchez to complete my 3 Arsenal.

If you're going to have to take a hit eventually why not now? Kane against City or Giroud against Hull. Seems an easy choice to me.

How did this week go by the way? You were going to take a couple of hits?

                  Took a -12.

                  Choice ended up being

Vardy and Fabregas or N'Doye and Terry.

I was 0.1m off getting Giroud for free with the Terry move so ended up going with 2 attackers. Shame Vardy was out scored but still another game to go.

Score has given me a red arrow but more importantly I've only lost 6 points of my ML lead with Vardy and Fabregas differentials to come.

I have Cesc too. I just have a feeling about him at Arsenal playing No. 10, it is one of the reasons I was willing to switch the armband from Eden. Still remains to be seen whether that was the best decision. 😉

            Just to add a bit...

            There are 7 relegation-threatened teams.

3 of them are trying to attack their way to points - Leicester, QPR, Villa.
2 of them are trying to play solidly, give little away and nick a win - Burnley, Sunderland.
1 is balanced between the two - Hull.
And 1 is hopeless at both - Newcastle.

Strikers from Leicester, QPR, Villa and Hull are therefore great options if you can pick the fixtures right. They are fighting for their lives while a lot of teams are taking their foot off the gas even if their managers don't want them to.

With Newcastle and Leicester in 37 and 38, Austin could be worth his weight in FPL gold if QPR still have a chance of escaping by then.

Yeah. Trouble is I have no arsenal players and need a hit if I want Giroud, Sanchez and Ramsey (which I do)

Very few spare transfers so I might hold Vardy.

Yep. I think that's probably the best three, though I am happy with Ospina/Sanchez/Giroud which is what I'll have.

I think Vardy can be held in any case.

Feel silly to have been on a wildcard and not gone Terry and Skrtel over Ivanovic and Moreno 🙁 Worse more I convinced myself of Giroud over Vardy.

You cant predict injuries, tough luck. I had a gut feeling about Skrtel all week but went with the logic on needing to save cash and bought Moreno 🙁 Its just a tough break, can only move on.

Liverpool started the season as a team that could attack but not defend.

They appear to be ending it as a team that can defend but not attack.

If I was a Liverpool fan I'd be getting sick of hearing Rodgers talk about a "wonderful performance" after a 0-0 draw with WBA.

Liverpool with Klopp would be a whole different ballgame. Rodgers is a very good coach to develop young players but I don't think he knows how to read the riot act to established professionals. Klopp does.

Think an attacking problem is easier to fix than a defending one epecially if you have Sturridge coming back in, Lallana in his second season at the club and Henderson getting better every match. It isn't clicking for them right now but they are serious top 4 contenders next year.

          P.S. I'm not a Liverpool fan

Burnley have had an attacking problem for a long time. I always thought it was harder to fix an attacking problem, surely anyone can do a Pulis if they really set their mind on it.

Well, I am in the minority but I don't rate Sturridge at all.

I saw him pull out of 50/50 challenges so often at Chelsea that I would never want him in my team. I consider him to be physically cowardly.

Players like Sanchez and Costa are desperate to play even when they aren't fully fit. From what I hear coming out from Liverpool, Sturridge is totally the reverse, one slight knock and the sicknote goes in.

He has talent but lacks the requisite character to go with it. Maybe unfair but that's my opinion.

First season of FPL and 68 points lost in hits. And I think I may need one or two more before the end of the season.

Lowest point was a ridiculous -8 in back to back game weeks (GW 2 and 3). Foolishly fell for the price rise trap since it was something I thought had to be done.

    A) Vardy (NEW)
