The injuries were kept to a relative minimum over the weekendโ€™s action as we cast an eye over the latest batch of recruits to climb onto this Sundayโ€™s Treatment Table.

Chelsea
Ramires was initially named in the Chelsea starting line-up to face Palace this afternoon but withdrew prior to kick-off due to illness. Jose Mourinho revealed post-match:

โ€œRamires went to the hospital. He was feeling so bad that we decided to take him out of the dressing room and take him to hospital. I’m going to visit him now. Maybe he’s not there anymore, but he was feeling really bad, really ill.โ€

Manchester City
Jesus Navas missed this afternoonโ€™s trip to Tottenham with a tight hamstring, according to the local press. Cityโ€™s problems on the flanks mounted after Samir Nasri lasted just three minutes as a substitute before suffering a recurrence of a groin problem.

Newcastle
Paul Dummett is an early doubt for the Magpiesโ€™ clash with West Brom after sustaining a hamstring problem during Saturdayโ€™s loss at Leicester.

QPR
Steven Caulker was subbed off at the break in the Rโ€™s loss at Liverpool due to a suspected broken hand.

Southampton
Sadio Mane was forced off during the Saintsโ€™ loss at Sunderland after failing to recover from a challenge from Lee Cattermole.

Swansea
Nelson Oliveira was replaced in the first-half of the Swansโ€™ win over Stoke due to an ankle injury. Garry Monk conceded the forward – who has been playing with the problem for a fortnight – is set to be assessed:

“He’s had it for a couple of weeks that ankle injury. Under the challenge, it was a heavy challenge on him, he rolled his ankle and it was enough to come off. There was swelling, so it’s one of them that we’ll have to assess in 48 hours’ time. Hopefully the swelling goes down and he’s available for next week, but won’t really know until probably Tuesday.โ€

Sunderland
The Black Catsโ€™ skipper John Oโ€™Shea was forced off with a rib injury and concussion in the 2-1 win over Southampton.

West Brom
James Morrison missed the Baggiesโ€™ win over United due to injury, according to post-match reports.

Probably going Sanchez (C) during the DGW. I'm sure many won't have him because they can't afford him.

Caz dropping deep against Sunderland, maybe. Although I doubt Welbeck will get a lot of minutes.

So, Terry next season - will he still be nailed on every game like this season? Or will time finally start catching up with him and Jose start giving him breaks?

The secret if JT's fitness is immense hard work and international retirement.

During last summer and for 2 weeks during international breaks he did a lot of extra training, especially repetitions in the sandpit at Cobham (less impact strain). I saw him on the 3rd day of pre-season when Chelsea played Wycombe and he already looked as fit as a flea.

I'm 57 ahead (rival has Giroud and Bellerin) and I in no way call it won yet.

With gw37 still to go I'm quite worried about what could happen.

Yeah, really surprised by it. Was over 100 points behind at one point, never thought I'd be able to make up that much ground on a top player. Must be the power of Kolarov ๐Ÿ˜‰

You have 2 players tomorrow to my Giroud so will probably reclaim top spot.

I've compiled the season to date (up to & incl GW 34) Bonus Points Stats. Details as follows:

    Total Games: 339
    Total Bonus Points: 2166
Average Bonus Points Per Game: 6.4
    Goalkeeper : 90 pts (4.2%)
    Defender: 697 pts (32.2%)
    Midfielder: 862 pts (39.8%)
    Forward: 517 pts (23.9%)

2013/14 stats showed Average Baps per game at 7.2 so there has definitely been a reduction in the scoreless game baps of 3,3,3,3 for example........

Defenders were the highest Bap getter last season - close to 40% - Midfielders have taken the pole position this year, and, given the player values, this is more appropriate. Goal keepers still lagging behind - the great match winning save (unless a peno save) treated the same as every other.

    The Matic/Carrick midfielder still ignored................

Definite improvement on last season. If they stay the same then I think Hazard is essential regardless of price for next season.

Glad to see John Terry is finally getting the recognition he deserves of late. Too long have the English media lavished praise on players because of their good image, and not actually playing football. Like when Rio got into the TOTY playing shite for United a few years back. They just kept playing highlights of his good passes over and over again. Meanwhile people have reluctant to praise Terry over the years because of his bad image. Dragged an pretty poor England team to within a penalty shootout of the semis of the Euros a few years ago. Little / no recognition. Over the past 10 years he has been the best CB in the world, easily.

            2005-2015

Pretty much excludes Canavaro. Chiellini is prone to the odd mistake I wouldn't rate him high as most. Hummels has been awful this season.

I will admit though that part of the reason is because there is an extreme shortage of world class centre backs in the game at the moment.

The FA are clueless too. He was the natural leader for England, the rightful and best captain.
The first time he was stripped of captaincy they did it because he was harmful to the image of the FA after sleeping with his teammates girlfriend. Oh, but it's okay for Wayne Rooney who hired out prostitutes to captain England.
I respect Capello immensely for walking away from the job after the FA undermined him and stripped JT the second time. He was / is the rightful captain.

yeah doesn't look good when the hero is a racist. but in fairness, apart from the racism, and shagging his teammate's missus, and being a total d1ckwad, he's a great lad

I don't see how when he was acquitted in a court of law and even the FA made a specific note that they didn't believe Terry to be racist even when punishing him for use of racial language. I don't think anyone believes Rio Ferdinand to be a racist either but he was fined for the same offence (use of racial language) related to the same incident.

This kind of stuff is just mudslinging. When a player (like JT) has captained a team for 12 years containing many black players, many of whom are his close friends, the idea that he is some kind of closet racist is ludicrous.

actually i tend to agree, despite what i've said before.

that said, he didn't have the nous not to use "racist language" when it mattered.

Yep. He also didn't have the nous not to knee a Barca player in 2012, as a result of which he missed the CL Final.

By the time I was 34 I had made a fair few dumbass mistakes too.

Just on a side note, I don't think he deserved to be ridiculed for celebrating that CL win as he was. If anybody deserved to win the CL with Chelsea it was him & Lampard. But that just goes to show what I mean about the hate shown towards him.

Yeah when I wrote it out that did look better.

Would have Benteke, Ozil and Larsson this week then get Giroud and Koscielny the week after.

Already know rivals have Sanchez though and I'm leading so worries me a bit.

        Help me please:

        A) Kane + Ivan -> Benteke & Kosc (2FT), then Sterling + Vardy -> Larsson & Gru
        Or
        B) Sterling + Ivan -> Kosc & Sanchez (2FT), then Kane + Hendo -> Benteke & Rodwell.
