The injuries were kept to a relative minimum over the weekend’s action as we cast an eye over the latest batch of recruits to climb onto this Sunday’s Treatment Table.

Chelsea
Ramires was initially named in the Chelsea starting line-up to face Palace this afternoon but withdrew prior to kick-off due to illness. Jose Mourinho revealed post-match:

“Ramires went to the hospital. He was feeling so bad that we decided to take him out of the dressing room and take him to hospital. I’m going to visit him now. Maybe he’s not there anymore, but he was feeling really bad, really ill.”

Manchester City
Jesus Navas missed this afternoon’s trip to Tottenham with a tight hamstring, according to the local press. City’s problems on the flanks mounted after Samir Nasri lasted just three minutes as a substitute before suffering a recurrence of a groin problem.

Newcastle
Paul Dummett is an early doubt for the Magpies’ clash with West Brom after sustaining a hamstring problem during Saturday’s loss at Leicester.

QPR
Steven Caulker was subbed off at the break in the R’s loss at Liverpool due to a suspected broken hand.

Southampton
Sadio Mane was forced off during the Saints’ loss at Sunderland after failing to recover from a challenge from Lee Cattermole.

Swansea
Nelson Oliveira was replaced in the first-half of the Swans’ win over Stoke due to an ankle injury. Garry Monk conceded the forward – who has been playing with the problem for a fortnight – is set to be assessed:

“He’s had it for a couple of weeks that ankle injury. Under the challenge, it was a heavy challenge on him, he rolled his ankle and it was enough to come off. There was swelling, so it’s one of them that we’ll have to assess in 48 hours’ time. Hopefully the swelling goes down and he’s available for next week, but won’t really know until probably Tuesday.”

Sunderland
The Black Cats’ skipper John O’Shea was forced off with a rib injury and concussion in the 2-1 win over Southampton.

West Brom
James Morrison missed the Baggies’ win over United due to injury, according to post-match reports.

          Haha is sanchez more nailed than giroud? I m quite sure no1 can answer this. Giroud was rested for fa cup too while sanchez played almist everything. So even i have sanchez i would not say he is more nailed than giroud etc. Can only say both are most likely to start out of the other options

            Cheers. Just my opinion that Sanchez is nailed but I could be proved wrong and like you say no one knows for sure. Plus everyone will captain Sanchez and I'm happy covering that to stay top in top 1k

        I would have ozil Ramsey and giroud. Not sure on any of them as captain options. Making me think it's better to get Sanchez which means I keep vardy over benteke

    Basically when people claim that which arsenal players would be rotated or which are nailed for gw37 is there any supporting claims? imo those which starts all the game earlier(ozil sanchez) do not really make them more nailed than the rest. In fact they are so more likely to be rotated no?

      Pure speculation based on Wenger resting players for the FA Cup, he's always done that.

      Finishing second is important, they've just had 8 or so days since the last game and only Sanchez and Ospina have a Summer tournament, not expecting much rotation other than minor tweaks maybe.

          That's it, I'm not sure it will be secure, can't see City losing to QPR or Swansea which means Arsenal have to win all their games, any dropped points at Old Trafford means 38 is still a big week.

          Can't think of many league games where Welbeck has started instead of Giroud, he could play them together like he has done but saying Welbeck will start instead of Giroud is just people trying to convince themselves that they are right not to pick Giroud.

      Apart from rumours on here I haven't heard anything so I doubt it. But he didn't lash out too hard, kind of just kicked his leg out at Kane's arm, nothing worth a ban imo. I think the ref saw it anyway.
