Messi is like Ronnie O'Sullivan. A human that was born specifically to play this game. His natural ability is unfathomabole. He is short, has not much upper muscle and looks nothing like an athlete.
Ronaldo is a specimen of training and dedication. He has honed every aspect of his body and made himself in to the best footballer, more specifically goal scorer possible. He has a gift yes, but he needs tricks to pass players, and electric full pace speed of course.
The main difference is the turning ability, Messi never does stepovers as he can simply turn left or right at great speed with out a problem.
I believe they are as good as each other in their own respective ways.
Ronaldinho truly is a product of dedication. Messi was just born that way.

I'm considering it . My reasoning with Sturridge out Sterling will play upfront . I can do Henderson > Ozil and I can do Fabregas > Ramsey/Caz next week . I already have Giroud . I think Henderson is a complete and utter waste of space and Sterling is more likely to deliver vs Chelsea if he is playing as a false nine . I am well aware Sterling is also a waste of space but I think he is the lesser of two evils
