Our latest ScoutCast episode is dedicated to the memory of long-time community member Simon Humber, aka “Absinthe”, who sadly passed away last week.

Granville, Jonty and myself pay our respects by going about our business – just as Absinthe would have wanted.

We overcome Granville’s late arrival to analyse Gameweek 36, while deflecting the latest bout of community posers that have us assess the likelihood of Chelsea rotation, run the rule over Arsenal assets and lament the demise of Sir Leighton Baines. We also take time out to reflect on our season’s biggest errors, while Granville is given the unenviable task of selecting the best Fantasy manager from Jonty and myself – like a sultry temptress choosing between a pair of doting admirers.

This episode was aired on Tuesday evening via the magic of Google Hangouts. You can witness Granville’s unceremonious crash landing in all its glory via the full fat YouTube version below. Alternatively, if you prefer your ScoutCast more refined, you’ll require the edited audio mp3 via this link or the first player below.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for alerts on new episodes and to get involved in the Hangout live discussion next week.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So you enter a brothel and the concierge presents you with four options. Suddenly Neil Patrick Harris enters, he's a frequent customer and has no time for your indecision, after much impatience he puts a gun to your head and demands you to pick a damn milf already. So gents which will it be for a hit?

Ivanovic // Bertrand // Bellerin (Moreno, Wolly)
Hazard // Silva // Steling // Henderson (Mahrez)
    Kun // Giroud // Vardy

    1.7 itb // 1 ft

Behind ML leader by 40 points (has Sanchez & PVA)

    Which move looks best?

    A) Henderson ---> Cazorla (Differential to ML Leader and hope)
    B) Sterling & Moreno ---> Sanchez & PVA -4 (Others chasing dont have Sanchez either so forget top spot chase and consolidate position)

    Thanks.

Chasing 40 points i'd be tempted to go for Ozil or Ramsey, and set to captain for 37.
And i'd sell Bertrand if he's holding Soton defenders - crap keeper, no Schneiderlin and up against 3 teams you'd expect them to concede against

Cazorla has many more assist attempts. He only needs a penalty and he could easily come out on top.

        1. Get up ya bum

sure he could. dunno about stats tbh. just watching games alexis looks a lot more likely to me

I'm not sure there, with the way Alexis has been playing, I can't see the likelyhood of penalty going his way higher than the chance of an Alexis goal tbh.

      Courtouis I reckon

    5. Piggs Boson

      10 years, 7 months ago

I would play Courtois. Liverpool haven't looked great, and he should be good for save points.

And the Newcastle squad sound pumped. The players arranged a private meeting between them, without the manager, and Colo wrote a two page written letter to the manager outlining his passion. Cisse has put himself forward to play and sounds eager, and when he plays there are usually goals...

      Who knows though.

      1. Get up ya bum
        • 16 Years
        10 years, 7 months ago

interesting. I was kinda betting on cisse not starting as carver said he'll just use him for cameos. if he is starting that changes things I think

        1. Piggs Boson
          • 14 Years
          10 years, 7 months ago

In Carver's interview he sounded impressed by Cisse's passion. And that is exactly what he said was missing from the last match. I think he'll start.

          1. Get up ya bum
            • 16 Years
            10 years, 7 months ago

thanks gb great info there! sounds like they got the fire in the belly and with cisse a good chance to start that's enough to tip me to courtois I think.
now I gotta decide between starting cisse or bony in my draft league...

        2. Zasa
          • 11 Years
          10 years, 7 months ago

Chapy, FWIW Cisse was on a run of about 1 goal every 93 minutes or so before he was suspended. Boasting one of the best goals per minute ratio in the league this season. He's a great impact striker, he's scored a brace vs Chelsea in 38 mins and vs Hull in 22, both cameos.

              🙂 *Champy

Exactly mate, he's there main threat, I think this Newcastle side will be fun to watch with Cisse back in the helm IMO. 😉

    6. Zasa
      • 11 Years
      10 years, 7 months ago

I'd say Newcastle with a newly unleashed Cisse have more chance of scoring than Pool do relying on a striker from the Colonial age, IMO. Les Courtois for me here, rather easily tbh. If Cisse has any part in the game, I think he'll score. I just can't see where the Pool goals will be coming from, Gerrard is playing now, their attacking stats are down, attackers have no form, Gerrard is playing now. Oh and did I mention Gerrard?

God farting you say? An interesting hypotheses nevertheless, perhaps that it was Jesus meant when he said to "release you inner demons".

its not merely some hypothesis. if you understood the science of our gaseous god as I do and weren't brainwashed by the mainstream media you would know it is proven to be a fact.

You make great points there, am not as enlightened but have always been curious nonetheless. Which is why I ask the following, the Greeks has a God of War, God of Earth, but did they have a God of Gas? Sure, one could say that their God of War (Aries) would carry the burden, but I disagree.

interesting that you ask because the ancient greeks, wise as they were did indeed worship the god of gas above all gods. the illuminati have since the roman times worked to erase this from this history books. I know this is is true because an airforce pilot and a podiatrist told me

A-ha! Now I counter with this, was the podiatrist an air force pilot first? I ask this because I've known many podiatrists who coincidentally were air force pilots, but never on purpose.

    1FT 0.0 ITB

Team at present for this GW is

    Heaton (Panti)
    Terry Hutton Bertrand (Wollscheid PVA)
    Sanchez Hazard Hendo Coutinho (Boyd)
    Aguero (c) Kane Giroud

Any suggestions as there is so many questions arounf the Chelsea line up and Hutton and Wolly didn't start last game.

    Comments appreciated

Thats fine but Henderson probably needs to go for an Arsenal midfielder if you can afford it.

Do you reckon it be worth doing Hendo to Larsson (away to EVE) this GW to free up funds for a 3rd Gunner next GW. Would have Larsson for the DGW also even though Sunderland are pants.....or just save FT and see how eveything pans out this GW?

Sounds like a good plan to me. Him or Gomez at least. What could go wrong?
