Our Friday lunchtime analysis of the PlayON Player Price List arrives once again. As always, we offer a couple of picks per position: one essential weekend target and a left-field alternative for your consideration.

PlayON are now running a number of different deadlines so Fantasy managers can benefit from seeing as many teamsheets as possible. Managers can pick teams for all the 15.00 & 17.30 kick-offs up to 15.00 tomorrow. Their Daily game on Sunday, which includes two matches, has a deadline of 13.30.

There are free entry tournaments and guaranteed pots in all games so plenty for Fantasy managers to take advantage of – you can pick up to three different teams for each game now at www.PlayON.co

Goalkeepers – Boaz Myhill
Clean sheets look likely to be thin on the ground this week, so we’ve gone for backline options that should pick up points from elsewhere in the PlayON Scoring Matrix. Our left-field goalkeeper is West Brom’s Boaz Myhill, who has averaged five saves per match (worth 200 points apiece) over the last seven. The 1%-owned budget keeper, who sets you back just 5.7m, faces a Chelsea side that is likely to be rotated and has racked up clean sheets against Liverpool and United in the last three alone. Costel Pantilimon (7.3m, 9% ownership) is our other pick for much the same reason. Sunderland host a Leicester side that are in strong form but the 2-0 win at Goodison suggests the Black Cats are capable of resilient performances, whilst 12 saves over the last three is indicative of the Romanian’s importance.

Defenders – James Collins
Prior to their 1-0 loss at Aston Villa, West Ham had stepped up their resilience and produced back-to-back clean sheets. James Collins looks crucial in the heart of the Hammers defence – the centre-back has served up scores of 1200+ points in PlayON over his previous three appearances and has made 55 clearances over the last four weeks. With visitors Everton failing to score at home to Sunderland last weekend, Sam Allardyce could set out to contain once again as his side continues to struggle for goals – Collins costs 6.5m and currently resides in 6% of PlayON teams. Southampton’s defensive abilities have appeared to drop off in recent weeks but three straight clean sheets at St Mary’s prior to the draw with Spurs suggests the Saints backline can still be function well at home. At 7.1m,Toby Alderweireld is a cheap route into the set-up and the 8%-owned centre-back is likely to be kept busy with Villa’s Christian Benteke, which should add plenty of interception and tackle points to his score.

Midfielders – Jordi Gomez
Sunderland have been galvanised by the threat of relegation, with three wins and a draw in the last five. Jordi Gomez has racked up some impressive PlayON scores in that run – averaging over 1400 points per game, he’s manage five shots on target, an assist and two converted spot-kicks. Available for 7.3m (11% owned) for the home clash against in-form Leicester, the Spanish midfielder will also be busy picking up defensive points, following a total of 20 tackles (worth 50 points apiece) in five appearances. With over 35% ownership, Steven Gerrard (11.6m) is our essential pick ahead of the home tie with Crystal Palace – an encounter that has seen 14 goals in the last three league meetings between these sides. Gerrard has scored in each of the last two and will be bidding farewell to Anfield, meaning he is likely to be provided with plenty of opportunities for a final goal in front of the Kop.

Forwards – Ayoze Perez
Our left-field pick is surprisingly from struggling Newcastle. The Spaniard (7.7m) secured the Magpies’ first point in nine matches with an equaliser against West Brom last weekend taking his tally to two goals in the last three Gameweeks. John Carver’s side visit Loftus Road to play a relegated QPR side that have just shipped six goals at the Etihad and with an ownership of 5%, Perez could be a decent differential as the visitors look to secure their safety. Sergio Aguero has been in blistering form of late. The City forward served up a hat-trick and two assists against QPR last weekend to take his tally to eight strikes in the last five matches. At a price of 15.0m, there’s no surprise to see he’s the most expensive option in PlayON this week – nonetheless, over 45% of managers have already brought him on board ahead of Sunday’s trip to Swansea.

Head over to www.PlayON.co to get your teams in for the free entry and guaranteed pot games.

Best defender to replace Moreno, with 0.0 in the bank? Or play Schlupp off the bench and save for next week?

Start Moreno and if he plays it's a bonus (but risk a 1 pointer) or bench him and start Schlupp to avoid that risk?

No reason to think moreno will start all of a sudden. Just play schlupp.

    Bench one:

    A) Vardy - probably low scoring game but could be the goal scorer
    B) Hendo - probably high scoring game and could be involved
    C) Gomez (sanchez-enabler not done yet) guaranteed 4-5 points

Chasing so need the highest points potential.

I would go Vardy, that game should be tight.

Albrighton or Grealish would free up funds for a final GW38 punt, and you wouldn't mind if they ended up starting due to rotation elsewhere.

true. I'm downgrading sterling. Was thinking of someone like puncheon which would easily give me enough to upgrade ozil to hazard. Grealish is an option too. Thanks

    Kos* - Ivan - Skrtel
    Sanchez* - Ozil* - Silva - Hendo
    Aguero - Kane - Vardy

    Cambiasso - Duff - Bruce

GTG or Cambiasso > Gomez (-4) and bench Vardy?

Similar team as mine and that transfer is similar to what I'm thinking. I'd save in your situation though.

gomez will need to score or assist to profit from that transfer. Otherwise you're better off with a Vardy 2 pointer

If I already own Sanchez and Ozil, do you think the priority is:

    A) Azpi ---> Kosc
    B) Hazard ---> Cazorla

    Hi

I am chasing a 54 point gap and yes I agree its probably unlikely I will catch

    BUT

Right now he has no arsenal other than Bellerin.

    I have bellerin and cazola.

I think he will get sanchez............

Do I gamble on giround and captain him or go sanchez in the hope he wont! So hard........

Also - giroud will mean selling aguero, sanchez will mean selling hazard

    Cheers

Sanchez for Hazard is a better risk than Giroud for Aguero. Giroud hasn't been in form as of late and Hazard isn't guaranteed minutes IMO

I'd personally gamble he doesn't get Sanchez. Get him, captain him and hope your rival goes in another direction and Sanchez brings in big points.

Lots of tinkering and layers in the Studio, Live they can't do it so it's just the blast and noise of the pure tune. Pretty good at both tbh.

Personally I think they are pretty meh either way.

But most of the best guitar bands were/are better live than in the studio. The studio is too antiseptic an environment for them. None of the Rolloing Stones studio albums were as good as their live performances with the possible exception of Exile on Main Street which wasn't recorded in a studio anyway.

Radiohead are maybe one that is as good in the studio as live. But Radiohead are quite unique in many ways.

I think it's a coin toss move not helped by the fact that Myhill and Pants GW38 fixtures are awful. I'm in the same boat and think I'm just going to keep Myhill and hope for a jammy clean sheet, a strategy that worked against Man Utd!

Who is your other keeper as Panti plays Chelsea next week. Away. Myhill would be the better option as lots of changes according to Jose for WBA.

It would mean Pants and Myhill next week, but my team would be pretty much good to go so I could even make another GK transfer if I really needed to.

I think Myhill has a chance of a better score against a weakened Chelsea and you wouldn't play Panti next week. So it's a case if you think he'll make up that -4 over Myhill. Very close but not for me. Save your FT for a punt in 38.

Yeah, I think this is probably the sensible option. Thanks for replies both.

Is there anything to West Ham to play for?
What about that FairPlay Euro quota?

    Just saw the table:
    http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html

Is that meaning they won't throw their legs too much in the last 2 games to avoid cards and win this Europa League spot?

Really tempted to play Adrian this week instead of Panti, as my rival will play Myhill and have PVA as a Sunderland only cover for the DGW... No SUN def could be a good diferential for me, any thoughts?

Yep. Not sure that FairPlay will influence things too much to be honest. Reid back in the team will tighten up the defence though.

Personally, Id still opt for Panti over Adrain this week though.

I guess Sunderland will throw all their energy against Leicester this weekend and all they could take as a points against Arsenal and Chelsea away is a bonus. So 1:0 victory over LEI looks most likely then. Maybe Panti is better choice for a goalie this week.. Cheers!

The way I see it is that Panti is guaranteed 4 appearance points and has 2x chances for a clean sheet and/or save points and/or bonus.

Adrain is guaranteed 2 appearance points and has 1 chance for extras.

Yes. Open game you would presume. I can see Kane scoring but Spurs losing.

That's why I preffer to keep Kane till the end of the campaign and don't swap him for Defoe this week 😉

Is anyone thinking of risking Myhill or a WBA defender after recent performances against the big teams. CS v Liverpool, United, and although not a big team, a team doing well up until recently, Crystal Palace.

    I must change something?

    Pantlillimon
    Ivan Terry Kosc PVA
    Haz Ozil Alexis Silva
    Kane Aguero

    Bench: Vardy, Boyd

    1. Haz ---> Gomez (If Ido that I don't back Haz on GW 38)
    2. Ivan ---> Vlaar and Boyd ---> Gomez (-4) play 3 defenders and Vlaar on GW 38 for PVA
    3. Save and play Vardy and Boyd when Ivan and Haz doesn't play
