Laughing at all the Gerrard talk. The way most English non-Pool fans pull him down is amusing. It's the same thing with Rooney, Lampard, G Nev (until he became a pundit) Beckham, Carrick (until his twilight years) Sol Campbell, Terry (fair enough), Ashley Cole etc and probably explains why England's best crop of players since the late 80s - early 90s were so often embarrassed in the major tournaments.
That said, this whole love-in claiming Gerrard is a legend or iconic is completely OTT. Great player for several years but the sort of superlatives dished out today should be reserved for the likes of Zidane, Messi and Cruyffs of the game

Just watched MOTD for the first time in my life without knowing the scores. Never again. Although I looked forward to it all day, the minute saints v villa was 1st game I was worried as hell as mini league rival had put in Benteke and expecting a massive haul - then saw the mane Hatty WTF?!!

This is why i cant understand why more decent FPL players dont try Sky - serious money to be won rather than a pat on the head and half a hob-nob that FPL give.=)
The FPL website is far more user friendly and easier to navigate/use than the Sky one in my opinion, and although I am addicted to FPL, it is ultimately for my enjoyment and the money aspect of the Sky game doesn't override the fantastic website FPL provides.
Well that's fair enough but imo if you can turn in your hobby (obsession) into money it helps to justify it and in other ways obviously. I will have made £10,000 in two seasons from it if i do finish well this year.
