So proud of my team. Already relegated and yesterday first half looked like we were sulking. Coach Ramsey gave them a gee up at half time and reminded them that the fans still came out in droves t see them. We started the second half like our hair was on fire and gave us something positive to remember the season by.
Really hoping we don't do something stupid and change Coaches again. The players respond to this one and he seems like a genuinely good bloke.

It wasn't the play that pleased us so much - we're clearly not very good, hence the relegation! - it was the attitude.
I remember last time we went down. You were our last home game of the season then too! We gifted you two goals and the crowd was so incensed at Boswinga's attitude having been culpable for both that he was taken off at half-time and sent home so we didn't lynch him on the pitch at the end of the game!
Pity they forgot the fans had come out to support them in the first half and needed to be reminded.
Hope they do well next season but they have very little to feel positive about atm. Still I guess it's better than hull's recent 'positive' results

Greenwindmill was on the other night. Demi has neither been banned nor de-modded. His SC team was disqualified for voting irregularities but that doesn't mean he was involved personally.
The SC voting needs a thorough overhaul anyway. We get team voting, spamming, semi-political campaigns and double-voting happening in what is supposed to be a bit of fun. The whole thing becomes a pain.
Before stones are cast by people who don't know the facts, perhaps it would be good to remember that Demi does a lot of good stuff for this site. The team news is often much more accurate than I initially gave it credit for.The only way to stop false news being spread is somone actually revealing who the culprit was

agree about the voting process thothe scout picks will be revamped over summer. I'd like to keep community involvement in some way as its made the picks better - gives more choice (eg S Kuqi picking Mane this week). But if that happens it'll be a completely different format. We'll do a consultation either survey or hot topic discussion on it over summer to gather ideas.

Jonty, i dont know how it would work practically without mass work for yourself but perhaps the best way would be to have the teams submitted to you and then the options presented with no usernames attached and so people are literately voting for their preferred team rather than people if thats what people are concerned about.Could you the captain poll system.
How you pick those teams that are up for voting is the tricky bit i guessIt's going to require a lot of thought over the summer. I'm in the lead in the scout picks challenge so far so maybe they'll just let me pick them each week. 😉

Here's my idea...
Pick a community member that is liked and respected. Doosra maybe.
Let him choose from the SC teams every week. Voting still happens but he gets the decision, he can go with the most upvoted or not as he decides.
That would at least get rid of the need to check for double-upvotes. And Doosra would be able to discount teams where annoying spamming and/or team-voting has been evident.
SOmething along this lines would work. Voting for players rather than FFS members makes it less personal and would eliminate the please vote for me campaigns.
