The Premier League fixture list for 2015/16 was published this morning at 9am, allowing Fantasy managers an opportunity to start tentatively planning for the season ahead. Behind the scenes, we’ll be working on our fixture tickers throughout the day and aim to get these to you as soon as possible to offer a means of analysis of the opening six Gameweeks and, if you’re a member, the entire season.

Champions Chelsea open their campaign with a home encounter against Swansea before heading to the Etihad in Gameweek 2. Jose Mourinho’s men also square up to Arsenal in the opening six rounds of fixtures, and face trips to West Brom and Everton, in addition to a Stamford Bridge showdown with London neighbours Palace.

Man United take on three of last season’s top six in the first six rounds of fixtures. Louis van Gaal’s side welcome Tottenham and Liverpool to Old Trafford over that period and also pay visit to Southampton, with clashes against Villa, Newcastle and Swansea also on their agenda.

Man City hit the road three times in the first five. Manuel Pellegrini’s men roll up to West Brom, Everton and Palace, and welcome Watford, in addition to the above-mentioned home encounter with Chelsea.

Arsenal entertain West Ham, Liverpool and Stoke at the Emirates in the first six Gameweeks. Arsene Wenger’s men have a couple of London away days – at Palace and Chelsea – as well as a trip to Newcastle over that period.

Liverpool are handed four strong home clashes in the opening seven, as Bournemouth, West Ham, Norwich and Villa make their way to Anfield. Brendan Rodgers’ men have some testing times on the road, though, with visits to Stoke, Arsenal and United pencilled in over that time frame.

Leicester will be confident of continuing the form that clinched their survival last time out. Nigel Pearson’s troops face Sunderland, West Ham, Bournemouth, Villa and Stoke in the first six, with a Gameweek 3 trip to Tottenham looking the most problematic of their early matches.

West Ham begin life under new manager Slaven Bilic with an opening day trip to the Emirates. The Hammers also pay visit to Liverpool and City in the first six rounds of fixtures, though have four kind home clashes in the first seven (LEI, BOU, NEW, NOR) to bolster their appeal.

Crystal Palace are handed a tough start to the new campaign. Granted, the Eagles have Norwich and Villa in their opening three but aside from that, they go up against Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Spurs in the first six Gameweeks.

Over the next few days, we plan to focus on the new schedule in detail. In addition to a couple of “Frisking the Fixtures†articles, we’ll be rolling out a series of articles looking at the best rotation pairs available at the back over the upcoming campaign.

West Ham's opening home fixtures look pretty tasty

Shame about the away ones and that their rotating team is Chelsea

With Bilic as new manager, it could be worth punting on some attacking players? Cresswell for sure... and maybe Sakho?

Don't see how Bilic as manager will make them better than they were under Fat Sam. He's unproven in the premier league.

It looks like Colombia striker Radamel Falcao will be joining Chelsea on loan from Monaco and hooking up with international team-mate Juan Cuadrado at Stamford Bridge.

The signing hasn't been confirmed but Cuadrado is on international duty with Falcao at the Copa America.

He said: "I am very happy that he's with us [at Chelsea], but first we have got to concentrate on the Copa [America],"

Colombia coach Jose Pekerman added: "I have no doubts that they [Falcao and Cuadrado] are going to help each other [at Chelsea] and are going to be a success.

Have you been before? It's a great pub, Dick Turpin, Bram Stoker, Byron and Keats were all apparently regulars (Keats allegedly wrote Ode to a Nightingale there, though I doubt that's true).

Myth has it that the ghost of Dick Turpin haunts the pub. I don't believe in ghosts so I think that's patently bollocks, but it's an attraction to people who are into that stuff.

Aha nice work. Well the Spaniards Inn is the other side of the Heath, about a half an hour walk, so I recommend a pint in the Garden Gate first.

What do we all think about having promoted strikers as our third strikers in GW1?

Bournemouth have great fixtures and Callum Wilson seems a decent option if he comes in at, say, 5.5. With pace, composure and strength as this video highlights (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugSzMwdArKc) he could well have a great season. He's also third in line for pens, behind two players who aren't nailed-on.

But the start is always the worry - how long will it take them to settle in? Ings took a long time to get going (although Burnley never were a free scoring side), Austin also took 7 odd gameweeks to get into his groove, while Ulloa started with a bang but never really rediscovered that form until the final few GWs.

Deeney is the man I have my eye on

I started with Austin last season. Biggest mistake I made was selling him, would probably have been 50-100 points better off had I just done that instead of swapping about with the likes of Naismith and Berahino

Austin missing that penalty early on (GW 1?) was a killer for many owners.

Then he missed GW2 totally as was supposed to be injured

Then I sold and of course he scored and got maximum boners next game

          Yep, GW1.

Pretty unlucky for you guys, if he had scored that you'd probably have kept him until his brace against Villa and onwards

        Yeah he is another one.

Only thing with him is though, Watford have other decent strikers which could mean rotation/taken off early. Yes he is their main one but the others have decent goal/game ratios too.

With Wilson, he is more or less Bournemouth's main man up front and has better starting fixtures too

Yeah there's that too. But it depends how many promoted players you want really, I wouldn't be too confident going in with say, 2 keepers/defenders, a midfielder and a forward (assuming your midfielder is fourth, not 4.5 fifth bench fodder)

we may have little choice if we want say

Yes, I see your point. But I'd rather drop one of them (Sanchez) to a Mane and upgrade a Ritchie.

Besides, Kun may be back late from Copa, same with Sanchez.

Hmm it's always hard to tell with promoted players. But I think I may go with Wilson, less options up front and more in midfield

Yeah maybe. Wilson not being on Penalties puts me off. Like Adam, Ritchie is at the heart of everything at Bournemouth (created most chances/took most shots)

Bournemouth very attacking(similar to Blackpool) and scored 98(most goals) in their league last season.

Yeah good point re penalties, although looking at the bournemouth article the two players ahead of him are not nailed on. The main one is 33, and will surely be a bit part player. The other is a sub striker.

Ah okay that's impressive, do you have a link to those stats?

Another things is the fact that I'm hoping Ritchie is 5.5m vs Wilson's 6m.

8.5 or maybe 9.0, I think FPL towers will look at his form under Sherwood and that should inflate his price after what has otherwise been an average season as a whole.

It depends really. If fpl judge his whole season he might be cheaper, but with that run in he had he could be as much as 9.5

Probably, you could in the McDonalds World Cup Game, but you would automatically lose the players on the right side of your team on the formation screen.

Bit different from what's been going around on here.

Cancelo: Guerreiro seems more nailed on and is .5 cheaper.

Bianchetti: Might not start as Romagnoli is a superb defender. Bianchetti would only play cause he has more experience at this level and in this team.

Krafth: Sweden might end up being the whipping boys of group B and their defence is overpriced imo. More importantly: Krafth is OUT OF THE SQUAD due to injury.

        Thomsen: Not nailed on.
