In this latest article for Members we combine the current ownership data in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and our very own ICT Index* data, to find a collection of ten players who could provide handy differentials over the weeks to come.

With the emphasis on value in the current Fantasy landscape – we particularly targeted budget players who could plug the gaps in your squad – with just one notable exception from Villas-Boas’ Kings Road fraternity.

    current lineup for saturday:

    Krul

    Berra, Kompany, Bosingwa

    Silva, Walcott, Young, O'Hara

    Rooney, Holt, Dzeko

Bench is weak: Brunt, Simpson, N.Taylor.

I hate picking Walcott because he can be such a letdown, but at home to Swansea will hopefully be worth the risk.

I did think about going with 3 big strikers - Suarez and Adebayor were the other ones I was thinking of, briefly tried to shoehorn RVP in there, but he is too pricey.

Defence is obviously quite weak. Reckon it's worth downgrading Walcott to Arteta to improve on Berra? My only problem with that is that I don't think Arteta holds the same kind of threat?

Any thoughts on where that could be improved?

Why bench Brunt against Norwich? Start him over O'Hara imo.

You have good coverage. Berra rotates well with existing defence. You might want to upgrade Holt sooner rather than later? Walcott > Arteta might allow Holt > Luiz, or keep the funds in the bank and wait and see which 6.0 to 7.0 M striker starts scoring. I would play Brunt versus Norwich.

        Thanks.

Was going for O'Hara cos he's got a home fixture and wolves are in form really, but will consider playing brunt since two people have suggested it.

    Hey guys,

current front 8 is pretty standard

    Silva Sess Taraabt Brunt Moses
    Rooney Suarez Dzeko

I have 3 mil in the back

Should I swap Ess for Walcott/Arteta or get RVP in for Suarez? Walcott/Arteta option is more flexible, but I'm not sure Suarez will score great these next few weeks and RVP could go nuts.

i had rooney taarabt initially, but i thought chicharito will come good and arteta will run amok in arsenal's midfield, and he'll be wanting to prove himself on a bigger stage than everton. i think arteta will be get around 175 this year...maybe a big call?

If AVB has the balls to drop Lamps he should start every game, I think Lamps is the problem for Meireles in a 3 man midfield. Unless he changes the formation as well, so it is safer to wait and let him settle but once he does he should be great.

    Need some help:

    Krul - Vorm
    Ward - Enrique - Bosingwa - R Taylor - De Laet
    Young - Silva - Arteta - Dyer - Cabaye
    Rooney - Suarez - Dzeko

    1) Is it worth trying to fit Kompany at the back? City have good defensive record, am I'm not sold on Enrique.

    2) Will I regret not having Mata in the long run? Or will Arteta suffice for now considering Arsenal's good fixtures?

    3) I'm uneasy about Suarez and Dzeko. I know they're supposed to be safe bets for the long haul, but gut tells me to go with RVP. Ignore it?

      1) No need to fit Kompany in the back atm

      2) I'm going with Mata but Arteta could be magical if he plays at his best

      3) I would wait until Arsenal starting playing well before going for RVP, he will probably score a few goals but can't see him matching his 12 million price tag until the whole Arsenal team hit form.

      2. You wont yet, maybe GW6 but that is plenty of time to get him in
      3. Suarez is fine, Dzeko i dunno...i went RVP

I'm thinking no news is good news as far as Baines goes. Hodgson sounded fairly confident on Wingie, but I reckon he could just see a sub appearance this weekend.

The problem with your bench is that Surman has had fairly limited playing time thus far, however West Brom at home seems like the sort of fixture he'd get a start for.

I actually think you'll be OK- one or two of your midfield plus Suarez/Dzeko should get big scores this week... I wouldn't make any more transfers, I'd just think long and hard about captaincy this week- could be the decisive factor.

Yaya is at home to Wigan this week, no way you should spend 4 points getting rid of him. Essentially you need Arteta to at least assist and Yaya to do nothing in order to just break even.

I'm hoping De Jong will be back this weekend to allow Yaya to bomb forward a bit more. If this is the case I can definitely see him picking up some points- he's managed 2 assists so far, I think a goal is around the corner.

I always seem to have picked the wrong one out of that pairing so far this season (and I selected them for easy rotation!)

I've already decided to play 4 defenders, as I don't trust Surman (could get a sub 1 pointer) or Moses this week. So I'll go with Sinclair, and try to decide on Brown v Simpson as Saturday approaches. (If Baines is out, both will obv play.)
