In this latest article for Members we combine the current ownership data in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and our very own ICT Index* data, to find a collection of ten players who could provide handy differentials over the weeks to come.

With the emphasis on value in the current Fantasy landscape – we particularly targeted budget players who could plug the gaps in your squad – with just one notable exception from Villas-Boas’ Kings Road fraternity.

*For those of you unfamiliar with the ICT Index, click this link for more info…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    RMT

    Given/Vorm
    Kompany/Enrique/Warnock/Bosingwa/De Laet
    Nasri/Petrov/Dyer/Anderson/Brunt
    RVP/Suarez/Rooney

Other option is go with classic Dzeko/Suarez/Rooney front
    and upgrade midfield (with Walcott)

I'd get another decent midfielder in there.... too much money in defense (unless you're planning on 4-3-3 formation each week)

worth a 4-pt hit? taken one to catch dzeko/young rises already.

    team is:

    given/foster
    staylor/riise/delaet/bosingwa/jagielka
    mata/silva/young/sess/moses
    dzeko/zamora/graham

3.5 in the bank, would be looking to do one of:

zamora > suarez or other 10.2 or less striker
sess > arteta or other 10.0 mid

if fit, the home tie against bla looks good for zamora, and i may have to stick with him anyways if people think i really need to have arteta/walcott. could also hold and bring gervinho back in for gw5. he looked pretty darn lively and could be good arsenal coverage.

    thoughts? thanks!

I don't usually sell players early, but getting rid of Torres for Dzeko straight after the last premiership fixtures will probably result in been £0.6m better off.

Never seen anyone rise like Dzeko has!!

sorry to jump in guys this is a repost from the last page, wot do yall think?

102.0 havin w/c’d last week n done dzecko n young last sat for a 4 pt hit. i know lots say its not nessacary, its a false economy and that playin the market doesnt work, but after really gettin into it last season i felt it was worth seeing how things pan out if u keep it to the fore of ur mind early doors….my feelings are that if u can get ur value up enough it has to be an advantage to of acrued maybe an extra 5 6 or maybe 7 million by the time the jan w/c hits us.

it seems to me that dzecko for eg goin up 3 times in a week and maybe a 4th is a pretty unprecedented event so maybe with the rise figures on CTC bein so low this season it may work out!

whatever happens im defo lookin forward to see if there is any benefit from it come the run in

thort id ask the greater good of the ffs community if im right in thinking that price rises work on percentage of ownership....so a player who has low ownership wud rise quickly if a bandwaggon suddenley erupted following a decent points hall?

yeah i think i understand all that, but i suppose it is all jus a guide at the end of the day!

reason i ask the above question is rvp, he clearly has a low ownership and a good performance from him and arsenal this week wud surly see rvp rise quite quickly

If he scores again this week, yes, it's pretty damn likely that he'll get a lot of transfers in and go up in price. Although playing the game like that seems pretty dull to me...

hey mate im no pro compared to some on here but i think gettin on those players before they start doin well has a big benefit on ur scores so with regard rvp he's a gamble but one that could pay real dividens in the long run for both points gained (obviously) and also on increased value

Ok i have decided to go for a solid midfield and trying to have the main man at some of the clubs outside top 4

i have 3 big hitters up front and baines and huth in defence with given in goals

Zog , Cabaye , Brunt , Jarvis and M petrov

all starters if fit and play which ever 4 have better fixtures each week

That's far from a solid midfield? You have to have to have one big gun there imo, in the 9.5-10m bracket.

This would allow you to easily manage transfers, when one or two of the big mids are firing e.g. Silva, Nasri, Mata, Young, Nani, Arteta etc.

Otherwise you'd need two transfers to get them in.

I have Made 3 really bad captaincy choices so far this season...

    GW 1: RVP
    GW 2: Torres
    GW 3: Torres

So need a bit of help this week, options are:

    A Young
    Silva
    Rooney
    Dzeko

its gotta be between Rooney and Silva imo as i dont think Dzeko will play 90. In saying that tho Dzeko could easily bag a few before he goes off.

without knowing the rest of your team, i'd say that you're in the market for one of:

          silva
          mata
          arteta
          young
          nasri

i've got silva and dzeko and have even (fleetingly) been considering nasri, given the goalscoring on display at citeh. if i make another move this week it will be one of moses/sess out for arteta.

Guys like most I’m deciding if RVP is worth ‘hacking’ into the rest of my team. Basically it comes down to the following:-

    A. Arteta & Suarez
    B. Petrov & RVP

    Current Team:

    Given, (Vorm)
Jose Enrique, Bosingwa, Simpson / Brown, (De Laet)
    Silva, Young, Arteta, Brunt, (Dyer)
    Rooney, Dzeko, Suarez

Another one for your thoughts is:-

    1. Kompany & Brunt
    2. Brown & Dyer

With baines looking fit again should I do:

    A) Baines + Petrov/Cleverly
    or
    B) Kompany + Arteta

Note that I am on WC.

Just read the article about Baines. Looks like he will be fit.
Time to rethink my whole team. *sigh*

Wouldn't want to waste a forward place on Doyle. Defence is a bit too strong, probably better to have 2x £4.0m defenders and then upgrade Moses.

    Thoughts on my query above?
