The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

The fourth round draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, has been made today as promised, and can be viewed right here. Don’t get used to the luxury of almost two days notice however, as the next three gameweek’s are in quick succession. Survive that and your into the quarter-finals…

A look at round four first though, and first out of the hat is the tie between King Eric and Roger, with the latter holding a slender four point lead overall.

Last weeks top-scorer, and 62nd in the world, Ann_der_roo has top 4k opponent the Mozmeister. Ann_der_roo will be hoping to avoid going the way of our previous top-scorers, who have both already bitten the dust.

FFS Cup I champ donnellyc (sitting a modest 180k in the world) will once again be thanking the stars with a seemingly easy tie against 519,175th overall Manif.

Scout representative Granville will also be confident in winning his tie against Chris81, who is perhaps lucky to still be in the tournament after two red arrows on the bounce.

Elsewhere, Mark’s conqueror tippmann is still going strong and he faces livnal, Soup or Man has a tricky away tie against camdiggy, and Spooney takes on the infamous bill badger.

All ties to be played over GW11. As always the top-scorer in the round will receive a free £25 bet courtesy of sponsors Paddy Power.

Good luck to all 64 fantasy managers battling it out this weekend.

    Could use some help as I am at a loss of what to do this week. I have two transfers and 0.5M in the bank, with the following line-up:

    Foster (Robinson)
    Emlo O'Shea Salcido (Konchesky Baptiste)
    Fabs VDV Yaya MPetov (Malouda)
    Drogs Berbs Carroll

    Was going to swap Baptise and O'shea for two mid-priced d-men, but now with all the injuries thinking I should do something in the midfield.

    Rather foolishy/knee-jerk swapped Nolan for Yaya and Fabs for Dempsey two weeks ago so am really not keen to do much. Baptise for Coleman was the move I wanted to make until I fell 0.1M short with his price rise.

        I bought Malouda at 9.7 so will get 10 out of his current 10.4. hate to lose that cash, but do feel like he can't continue scoring at current pace.

        Was even thinking Malouda for Dempsey as he will be playing a more advanced roll again. Then I can use the extra cash to swap Baptiste for a higher-end D-man.

    VDS(foster)
    vidic, a.cole, samba (coleman, mummy)
    bale, cahill, nasri, young (adam)
    chamakh, bent, hernandez

            cahill/arteta is kind of like vdv/bale. i'd go arteta over cahill just like vdv over bale, then if one gets injured you have the obvious replacement for that same team coverage as well.

          yes, this week because he's changing formation to attack more and get more goals, which is what they need. but gyan is still a doubt to play 90 week in/out as bent is secure and has a proven track record.

    ok, i'm trying to come up with a good/funny team name for my coed indoor football team incorporating dutch or oranje somehow. any and all witty thoughts/suggestions are welcome, so have fun with it. if you're out there rbj, this is right up your alley. currently i have "dutch ovens."

    seems strange that Bruce has to change so much, they had one of the tightest defences in the league. get found out in 1 game and he feels he has to do major surgery.

      A team like Sunderland can't really not give Gyan a chance. Their most expensive player ever.

    Nani --> Arteta
    Bosingwa --> Coleman

    so my cup opponent capt. vidic over fabs and is playing two everton defenders banking all on the defense this week, interesting. here's hoping fabs has a killer gw and everton concedes but still wins 2-1 as i predicted w/arteta getting something out of it 🙂
