Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

      None of the players are guaranteed to start all the games. Targett may start gw 1-2 for Bertrand. S Taylor from Newcastle may have a run in the first XI but apart from them it looks bleak.

    I'm searching for a week-by-week chart on performances/scores (Goals assists, Bonus points etc) for every player from the previous season 2014/2015. I can't seem to find it anythere on this site (inlcuding the members area) or on the FPL official site. Does it not exist or am I looking in the wrong places?

      on the fpl website under transfers click on the player's info. I can't imagine it would be too useful though as its quite often context dependent

        Don't bother answering if you don't know the answer- Of course I have cheched the player info for this. I think these stats would be really useful. Maybe someone saved them from last season?

      1/2 - not sure on the rotation. Better off playing Panti as a solo keeper imo.

      2/3 - Not sure about Depay and Fab. Lacks Hazard.
      1/2 - Lukaku has a great GW1 but afterwards his fixtures are terrible.

      2/2 - Great rotation
      2/3 - Ivan over Azpi imo.
      2/3- Great midfield bar Ozil. Would look at Sterling instead.
      1/2 - Frontline is ok but slightly weak.

      1/2 - Might be better off going Myhil/Hen if he moves to cover injuries.
      2/3 - Kolarov is a rotation risk, Kaboul isn't fit, Saylor may not be nailed.
      2/3 - Good midfield, Ozil is less attacking though
      1/2 - Not sure if rotating promoted attackers is the best idea as it doens't give you flexibility to jump on performing players.

      Overall: 6/10

      I prefer a 343 but 352 is tempting this year

      That being said I would prefer having 2 forwards I always play rather than rotating a pair. Rotation can cause a lot of heartache!

      Also it will be hard if u want to upgrade Deeney or Wilson in the future without 2 ft

        We are definitely on the same page. Exactly how I think. Rotation anywhere has given me heartache. Kollarov and rotating forwards is my punt.

      1/2 - Hennessey uncertain. Are you planning to rotate keepers or just play Panti?

        Was thinking Ozil more nailed than Ramsey....but do prefer Ramsey and think he may score more.

    Please can I have a RMT -

    Hart - Schwarzer
    Azpilicueta - Koscielny - Cedric - Huth - Ward
    Hazard - Ozil - Mane - A.Ayew - Westwood
    Rooney - Sakho - Wilson

    2.5m in the bank for Aguero.

    My thoughts are:

    I had Hart last season and I am sticking with him this season, a risk I know.

    The defence is pretty well balanced IMO

    The midfield I like, Hazard is a must and I really like the look of the other 4, Ibe being the gamble.

    Rooney until Aguero gets his good run of fixtures, I've kept 2.5m for him. I think Rooney could have a good run but I like Sakho's and Wilson's fixtures until I know Aguero is back.

    The dilemma I have is do I keep the 2.5m for Aguero, or just do the wildcard as I have to do one before Christmas anyway.

    Advice appreciated as always 🙂

      1/2 - Not convinced on City defence tbh. I would downgrade to a good rotation.
      2/3 - Solid defence. I prefer Ivan over Azpi. Not convinced on Palace defence.
      2/3 - Like Haz and Mane. Ayew is uncertain and Ozil isn't the best Arsenal mid imo.
      1/2 - Good frontline but slightly weak.

      Overall - 6/10

      I would use the 2.5m in the bank to upgrade your frontline and mids tbh. You can get Aguero by saving 2 transfers or Wildcard early if you must.

      1/2 - There may be a better rotation out there.
      1/3 - Needs a premium defender or two imo.
      2/3 - The mids are fine but most of them aren't goal scorers.

      I prefer your 343 team.

      1/2 - Might be a better rotation out there.
      1/3 - Defence slightly weak imo. Not sure if you plan on rotating defenders.
      2/3 - Schneiderlin is the only questionable mid
      1/2 - Lukaku may be injured to monitor him. Not sold on Hooper.

    It's a risk going without a Chelsea defender and I'm unsure on Depay, but I'm willing to take a gamble on him. I'll almost certainly be wildcarding in GW4, so not worried about 4.0 defender

      Like it, of all keepers coming up it has to be Ruddy imo.

      If you are planning on the WC in gameweek 4 them those subs are fine, could arguably change O'Shea to Baker of Villa and upgrade Huth to a 5 - Moreno, Williams, Shawcross etc, even Van Aanholt.

      Can't say anything bad about your front 7, really good.

      No crystal ball on playing time but what if:
      Darmian rotates, Walcott rotates, Depay rotates, Mane rotates (J Rod)
      Can you afford all of them in cameos?
      Maybe Change 1 for nailed player until the dust settles.

      NIce team, the attack has lots of potential.

      In my personal opinion i'd do Mane -> Chadli & Cedric -> Azpi.

      It's a matter of opinion though, nothing wrong with the way you have it.

        Yeah it's tough - I have had Aspi in all my other drafts. I may still downgrade depay or Mane to Hendo/ Milner/ Chadli and then bolster the defense.

      Regarding your team I wouldn't go with depay and Rooney as a blank in one week would have a heavy effect on your team. Rooney hasn't been so great pre season and depart is unproven.

      Since you are sure about u r wc I suppose 4.0 for goalies and Def is ok. Keep an eye on news regarding Walcott starting.

      Zaha Ki is the weakness. Otherwise this is very strong

    0 ITB, 3-5-2 formation Punt is Bournemouth and Depay. Will get Aguero when needed (if)

      Lukaku has a tough run in and Pelle/Benteke might be better off in the start. But Lukaku is a sure starter

    Alderweireld, O'shea, Richards, Targett, Bennett
    Chadli, Hendo, Fab, Depay, Özil/Walcott
    Rooney, Costa, Jerome

    2.0 ITB

    Notes:
    Özil/Walcott choice will be depending on if walcott plays striker in community shield
    2.0m itb will serve to upgrade costa to aguero.
    Should I downgrade depay in order to strength defense? If so what are your opinions?

      That defence is definitely too weak for my liking.

      I'd personally want two reliables like Koscielny & Azpi and three 4.5's to rotate around them.

      I think Jerome will cause you a lot of frustration in a potentially profitable area.

      Downgrade Hendo to a 4.5 & upgrade that defence!

      In my humble opinion of course 🙂

      Its a bit different. Watch out for Costa hammys. I'd be scared going without Haz and Im not sold on Cortois.

        What about Watford and Bournemouth?

        Both rotate well... both have 4,5 keepers (Gomes and Boruc) and both should get decent save/BPS points?

    When I looked at your defence I was expecting to see hazrard at least in mid. You are holding 2 mill tho.. Maybe spend it and deal with aguero when you need to. Your team is suffering with holding the cash in bank imo

        Haha, I literally did the reverse of that transfer an hour ago. I had Ivan & Ritchie.

        I decided to go for Wilson upfront so I didn't want a double up.

    I am unsure on Benteke as he might not fit quite well in the team. If I am to take him out, who should I bring in? Of course that would mean an instant swap A.Ayew for Milner.

    Is benching Ivan for GW2 wise?

    Also is a Man City DEF i.e. Mangala a better pick than Mertesacker?

    Currently the plan is to rotate Wilson and Jurado. I really wanted Ritchie in my team but couldn't fit him in unless I got a cheap 5th midfielder who is not a secure starter.

      The defence & forwards are fine. No arguements there.

      But, the midfield area could be the most profitable area this season and I just think yours is too weak.

      One of Ayew, Mane, Cazorla or Jurado is worth a punt but not all 4 together, Cazorla is maybe the exception but i'd want a bit more reliablility in there.

    Same gks/def as cheap rotation with excellent fixtures

    Rooney/Wilson/Deeney

    Second team is a pre aguero/city wc in wk 4 team purely playing the fixtures hence double ars/utd.

      3 5 2 for me until further notice.
      Too many doubt on forward ATM to spend big money.
      Some say you could get stuck with Wilson/Deeney but:

      If fails it costs 4pts. Worth the risk IMO

      I prefer the 3-5-2, though I reckon you do need a better striker with Rooney. The 3-4-3 just looks a little weak in midfield with too much money invested in attack...

      I think a bit of tinkering with either team could result in a solid, well-balanced team.

      dont know about the keeper rotation with villa (not sure theyll keep many cs), is bardsley nailed (muniesa may be better at 4.5?), really liked mid and ade as a pick is a good punt

        I think Ade will definitely go to Villa, and if he does, I think he could definitely get a few in the opening gameweeks...

        Defence is one area which I do need to have a think about.

        With goalkeepers my thoughts are that they get points for saves, so taking a bit of a punt on a goalkeeper is often not a huge deal unless they never keep a clean sheet and concede lots of goals. I can see Villa conceding far fewer this season with Sherwood in charge.

      Payet & Sakho is a bit much imo.

      Perhaps Adebayor -> 5.5m striker (Deeney, Wilson, Defoe) & Sakho -> Benteke?

      The rest looks fine. Keep an eye on the Myhill situation though.

        Yeah, tbh I'm not sure about Payet. Thinking of upgrading him.

        Liverpool don't have the best of starts from what I remember, and I'm keen to see how Rodgers will deploy Beneteke before putting him in.

    I know my defence is very cheap but dont really like expensive defenders. Not sure about Muniesa and Morgan though, will they get in the starting 11?

      Defense looks quite thin to me! i don't see clean sheet points coming your way!
      You can downgrade on hendo and sterling and upgrade your defence.
