Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

He'll play the Europa since he is ineligible against Arsenal. No reason to worry unless something happens Thursday.

Initially I had exactly the same thoughts but since I think of picking 1 mid from top 4 teams, sterling looks more tempting with 0.5 extra.

As has been said before, no one is really nailed in the Arsenal midfield.
Walcott, Ox, Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Sanchez... no way that anyone is as nailed-on as we are hoping.

He was disappointing today, though he got an assist. That being said, Theo CF vs Chelsea wasn't going to be convincing anyway. West Ham, with due respect, are more vulnerable.

    Why the Walcott sales bonanza?

He got one assist, and was substitute after an hour. Possibly to rest him for West Ham.
We dont know that he will be benched on sunday, and for all we know he could start as a forward again.

For 9m he got to be wurth a gamble in GW1.
Worst case downgrade to one 8,5..

Would use that 2.5 mil to upgrade strikers. U can save transfers to get Aguero in.

Considering Tekkers over Deeney and downgrading Matthews to a 4 mil

          I like it then

considering something similar myself with Sakho, Wilson and Sinclair

Use that 2.5 and have a plan for Kun.

Mahrez or Sinclair better options than Lens/Rithice.

Is Matthews even nailed to start?

Prefer RuddyRudd as gks but thats just me.

COSTA INJURY WORRY. Do people think Chelsea's striker Costa will start the 1st few games. He didnt play today in Community Shield with hamstring probs. Im concerned cos l heard once ya hamstrings go they will never fully recover.Who else do i put in if l already have Pellè and Wilson. Rooney, Kane, Benteke...?

Thanks for reminding us that Costa is the Chelsea's striker, i could have confused him with Douglas 😀

Why is there no Puncheon love? On DFKs, will play while Bolasie is out and in a fairly attacking side with Norwich and Villa in his first three fixtures

Definitely seems a better option than Cabaye, Ritchie or Ki SY
