Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

    ALL PLAYERS WILL BLANK A FEW TIMES DURING THE SEASON. WHEN ALMOST ALL DO IT IN THE SAME GAMEWEEK, IT IS TOUGH TO TAKE, BUT THAT'S JUST THE DARK SIDE OF PROBABILITY.

        I was on a SUN/BOU/LEI rotation (similar to yours) but the Bournemouth bit put me off, I would be surprised if they aren't the worst defence in the league.
        I like Huth and Sunderland look good but it is hard to judge who will start.

    1) I'm unsure about the last 3 defender spots.

    If O'Shea might start?

    Don't know if Southampton will be as solid after some important players left.

    2) I'm debating between Ozil & Cazorla. I'm inclined to go with Cazorla for now.

    3) I've been very impressed by Lens. Such a dynamic presence in a team sorely lacking it.

    However, had to downgrade Ivanovic to Azpi and Sakho to Deeney.

      Personally I would save a little on GK like Pants and save £0.5 and upgrade to one better defender.
      Lots of times the GKs on worse teams do well cause they have to make more saves and a little better defender can help a lot. I like Arsenal D actually a lot.
