Season after season we’re seeing new weekly and daily Fantasy Football games launch and compete for our attention. It’s become obvious that these types of games are here to stay and are growing at pace.

This summer has been no different and it’s became clear that we needed a new approach to dealing with the games and to help guide those who decide to dip into them.

While we’ve limited ourselves to working with two full-time weekly/daily game partners in previous seasons, this time around we’re going to be more fluid over the course of the campaign.

You’ll see a number of games appear on our pages, some new, some familiar, although we’ll never look to cover more than two dedicated games in any given Gameweek.

In addition, we’ve a new approach to discussing these games and guiding your involvement.

We’ve recruited the 2013/14 Fantasy Premier League champion, Tom Fenley and we’re setting him a challenge.

He’ll get £100 stake money in every game that we include on our pages and we’re challenging him to use his undoubted Fantasy Football talent to turn that into profit.

Tom will be here updating his progress in each game, mulling over the options presented in a bid to build on his stake money.

He’ll also be providing a new “Weekly Shop” article in midweek which will detail his thinking for his player selections, outlining those picks that will be the mainstays of his weekly/daily lineups and those budget “enablers” that allow for big spend elsewhere.

In this way, we hope that we can help guide your strategies in whatever game you’re playing, whilst giving you an insight into playing some of our partner games week to week, including the prizes and formats they may have on offer.

In the meantime, we’d appreciate your views on daily and weekly games and will be starting a Hot Topic later this evening to capture your thoughts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Think I've finally cracked it !

    Rutland

    Ivanovic Francis PVA

    Fab Wally Mane Mahrez

    Kun Sakho Kane

    Jenkinson Prodl Wanyama

My only worry is Fab over Haz, but reckon the rest of the team should cover it. Thoughts greatly appreciated.

You could save 1 mil by getting Milner/Henderson over Coutinho and upgrading Sinclair or Lambert because your attack and midfield is a bit weak, especially with the expensive choices of Baines and Courtois and the double Arsenal defence.

    Evening all

Recently joined the members circle for the first time. Loving the Player comparison tool, could spend all day on it and I know it will be very useful for weighing up transfers in the future. So as a member 'Noob' I was just wondering would any experienced members care to share their favored Analysis tool or their pre-GW routine

Price tag but I have a feeling he will be heavily marked and players like Lamela and Chadili will rack up the points.

Lamela racking up the points just doesn't sound right. 🙂

And all the good players are marked to some extent. Doesn't stop them scoring points.

    Schmeichel Hennessy
    Azpilicueta Mertesacker Cedric Francis Turner
    Hazard Ozil Mane Henderson Sinclair
    Rooney Kane Sakho

    £0 in the bank.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
My question is: will this team increase my team value to £100.5 million by Gameweek 4.

The thing is, my Aguero stategy at the moment is...

    A) Start with Sinclair (£5 mil) over Wanyama (£4.5 mil) and by Gameweek 4, do Rooney>Aguero and Mane to a 5.5mil mid.
OR B) Start with Wanyama over Sinclair and by Gameweek 4, do Rooney>Aguero and Mane to a 6mil mid.

I want to know if I can do A) but get a 6mil mid for Mane.

Am thinking of starting Targett vs Newcastle rather than Sakho vs Arsenal..
Would mean a 4-4-2 and 2 Southampton defenders at the back but I think theres more chance of a Southampton clean sheet rather than a Sakho goal..
    What do people think?

Only three teams kept a clean sheet at Newcastle last season - Man City, Man United and Sunderland.

There's also the fact that Targett, as a fairly defensive full back, probably has a 6 point ceiling. Sakho could hit a double figure score and drive you mad.

What is the best striker and midfield combo for £15.5 m

NO Hazard, Caz, Mane, Rooney or Sakho.

    Good luck 🙂

Benteke+Milner/Chadli/Henderson I think. Pelle+Payet if you feel lucky.

What on earth am I seeing here?

    Triple captains points.
    Bench boost.
    All out attack.

Is this for real? Why are they trying to spoil the game with these turgid gimmicks?

No must haves at this point, especially with Aguero doubtful. I like to think Hazard is good but not essential.

    3. Malcolm Tucker for England …
