Season after season we’re seeing new weekly and daily Fantasy Football games launch and compete for our attention. It’s become obvious that these types of games are here to stay and are growing at pace.

This summer has been no different and it’s became clear that we needed a new approach to dealing with the games and to help guide those who decide to dip into them.

While we’ve limited ourselves to working with two full-time weekly/daily game partners in previous seasons, this time around we’re going to be more fluid over the course of the campaign.

You’ll see a number of games appear on our pages, some new, some familiar, although we’ll never look to cover more than two dedicated games in any given Gameweek.

In addition, we’ve a new approach to discussing these games and guiding your involvement.

We’ve recruited the 2013/14 Fantasy Premier League champion, Tom Fenley and we’re setting him a challenge.

He’ll get £100 stake money in every game that we include on our pages and we’re challenging him to use his undoubted Fantasy Football talent to turn that into profit.

Tom will be here updating his progress in each game, mulling over the options presented in a bid to build on his stake money.

He’ll also be providing a new “Weekly Shop” article in midweek which will detail his thinking for his player selections, outlining those picks that will be the mainstays of his weekly/daily lineups and those budget “enablers” that allow for big spend elsewhere.

In this way, we hope that we can help guide your strategies in whatever game you’re playing, whilst giving you an insight into playing some of our partner games week to week, including the prizes and formats they may have on offer.

In the meantime, we’d appreciate your views on daily and weekly games and will be starting a Hot Topic later this evening to capture your thoughts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Sherwood only eanted to play people he thought suited a relegation fight. Likes of sinclair spent time on bench. Plus we sold delph lost cleverley and weimann gone now so hes pushed up order. Good pre season too

Not necessarily nailed on, but has a great attacking threat and could get returns you would be thankful of from the likes of Hazard. Wouldn't want him as a 4th mid mind. A little expensive for a 5th mid too.

If I were to pick him, I would want to rotate him for the 4th mid spot, or rotate him with the 3rd striker.

      7/10

Ones I am not sure on

Darmian - Unknown to PL, how will he settle in? United's signings recently haven't really lit the world on fire. Plus united's defence is suspect

Clyne - Good player but what will you do with the poor away fixtures?

Coates - I have him but are we sure he is definitely nailed on? I have read some people say o'shea as captain is nailed and one of kaboul/coates will start. Personally I feel coates is a advocaat favourite and did v well end of last season but there is a seed of doubt

Walcott - Explosive but if he is benched then what?

I have similar concerns Bemba. Thanks for constructive reply.

I may yet get another 5.5m instead of Darmian - maybe Per M?

Clyne I am happy to play in any fixture - 'pool can grind some away cleanies and he will be aiming at Benteke's head most games.

No idea on Coates. Any better 4.5m players?

Walcott is an easy switch to Sterling / Cesc should he start to falter.

mert/bellerin perhaps? Bellerin has debuchy breathing down his neck but has done nothing to suggest he will be dropped

Not really many other 4.5 options - you have norwich combo in goal so no bassong and you have huth/mings already. i'd wait for some predicted lineups to get a better idea in terms of who starts in the lineup

walcott to ozil/caz might be a good pick. Again I'd wait for further news on predicted lineups

Hey all, I'm planning to WC after week 3, so I am in 2 minds about Chelsea and would love some input.

On one hand, Chelsea's early fixtures aren't strong and they didn't look great against arsenal over the weekend.

Then again...Chelsea have started the last few years with a bang, especially Fab & Ivanovic. Worth getting in for the first 3 weeks or no?

He is a very good young player, delighted to see him go on loan to a club like Wolves to get experience. Finishing needs work for sure, but for such a young player that will come. Could be another Sterling as has a little bit of attitude as well.

I'll try again with a new crowd....

    A Pelle, Kos, Coates

    B Pelle, Mert, Pva

    C Tekkers, Mert, Coates

    Kos/Mert would play every week.
PvA/Coates would be used in a 2 way rotation.

    A:

    Clyne
    Mertesacker
    Kane

    B:

    Koscielny
    Pelle
    Sakho

I already have Mane in the squad so the Pelle double-up is a little worrying there. Also have Cedric.

Payet. Mane is overpriced and Payet was the midfielder with the most chances created in all of the 5 top leagues last season and he's on set pieces. Mane might be rotated more often, too.

I've the same front 3 so I agree with those!

I think Rudd is better back up than second choice schwarzer...
      Mid looks good
      not sure of your def

I think defence overall is solid as I have most bases covered, Chelsea, Arsenal, Southampton, an improved looking Spurs defence and a gritty Leicester defence.

I suppose I better sort out my team

    A) Albrighton & Sakho
    B) Ritchie & Bojan

In A), is Albrighton non-playing? I rate Sakho. I think he's one of the few underpriced players this year.

      A Granny

Bojan is fit but not match fit, unlikely to be a starter from the off

Think he'll be getting a few appearances of the bench to build up the match fitness

This is my first season and am trying to get my head round the pricing system. Is there any value in buying low priced players such as Sinclair/Wanyama/Wilson and hope that their price rises quickly therefore providing you with more funds to buy more expensive players? Or is that too risky?

I wouldn't expect a huge price rise, but I would advise owning a cheap player like Wanyama to give the rest of your team strength. Only rely on the likes of Wanyama to score you 2 points when injury strikes the rest of your team.

It depends ... last year price rises were very slow however in previous years it was a factor, though not how I played. I've always just tried to get the best players for the next 5 or 6 games

    Butland - Ruddy

    Or

    B)

All you need to say is Walcott and Pelle or Ozil and Benteke

      Definitely A for me

I see you're doubling (tripling with Gomez) up on Liverpool, feeling that confident? I'm a fellow Red and have zero, too worried about our away games. And Hendo over Milner? Not saying Hendo is a bad pick, but have a feeling Milner will get more points early on. Other than that, I'd say your team looks strong, very similar backline and mid to mine.

      A: Schmeichel Sinclair 5th mid

      B: Panti 4.5 mid

I think Panti will out score Schmeichel but not by much and would feel much more secure having Panti in goal than Schmeichel, on the other hand Sinclair seems too much good value to pass up and could gain value quickly in first few weeks plus I could bench Sakho for him gw1 and also Sinclair brings the AOA chip option into play at any given week.

Other option is C: Walcott to Ozil to fund Panti and Sinclair
