I'm waiting till GW 12+ .. dont really want to go 30 weeks without a WC considering the ideal time to play the second one is around the DGW period towards the season end

I'd save it for a DGW and play your all out attack, triple captain and bench boost all at once. 200+ point week.

    Sterling to Lens

Then rooney to Kun next week?

Please advise me on this lot. Worst ever game week with a princely 22 points.

    Ruddy, Butland

    Ivan, kos, Coates, Huth, Francis

    Ritchie, haz, theo, mane, wanyama

    Rooney, benteke, sakho

Torn between benteke and sakho for captain. Also trying to decide whether to save FT or downgrade theo this week. I want Kun for gw3 onwards, but I'm unsure whether to do it in one go or avoid Theo's price drop by swapping him now.

    Depay (C)?

    -Good fixture in Villa (A)
-Will be motivated to score after seeing Wijnaldum open his account already
-Man United could look to truly dominate an opponent after they squeaked by spurs

Why are people saying that Aston Villa (away) is a plump fixture. They might have tightened up and not be the pushovers they once were. Sure, United should win, but it won't be by more than 1-2 goals.

Will anyone be able to answer these questions? Can't find any info

What is Ulloa's status? Is he a bench player now?
What about Liverpool's Gomez. Is he nailed on?

Im doing a WC after GW 4.
Currently thinking of one of these
Players in : Defoe, Zarate, J Gomez, Darmian

Players out : Ulloa, van Aanholt, Huth,

    My team currently
    Krul/Butland
    Koscielny/Cedric/Francis/van Aanholt/Huth
    Walcott/Hazard/Sterling/Young/Ritchie
    Rooney/Pelle/Ulloa

    1. Aarono23
      • 10 Years
      10 years, 6 months ago

Gomez isn't nailed. He will be rotated with Moreno. Ulloa is a risk and probably wasn't gelped by not being involved really in saturdays goalfest.
I personally think your suggestion would be a bit of a waste of a wildcard, with Darmian the only one of the four you suggested being a solid acquisition. Would expect to see Sanchez/Aguero coming in on a wildcard.

To caveat this though I did only get 40 points on the weekend.

      1. paganwinter
        • 15 Years
        10 years, 6 months ago

Oh no, I am not doing a WC with the above transfers. I am doing a WC after GW 4 when Sanchez/Aguero is truly back and all other transfers/teams have settled.. So I am only looking at fixtures till GW 4 for my current set of transfers.

I am planning to do one of the following for GW2

        1) Ulloa to Defoe/Zarate
        2) van Aanholt to Darmian
        3) Huth to Gomez....this one is definitely out though since Gomez is a rotation risk

        1. Aarono23
          • 10 Years
          10 years, 6 months ago

In that case, Gomez may be an alright option through to GW4 due to Morenos current fitness levels, although not site on Liverpools defence against an Arsenal team including Sanchez.

Number 2 sounds good. I am not sure on beat option of Defoe and Zarate for Option 1.

When a certain post has a lot of relevance and the Moderator enjoys them they get "stickied" and appear bright green in the list. It makes it easy to come back and find the really good posts later. often the team announcements and major signings are stickied so they are clear to the reader for particular attention.

Could i get some sounds DZ advice here please. My conundrum for the following line-up:

    Fabianski (NEW)
Azpil (mci) Coates (NOR) Gomez (BOU)
Hazard (mci) Ozil (cry) Mane (EVE) Mahrez (whu) Milner (BOU)
Pelle (EVE) Rooney (avl) Sakho (LEI)

    Schmeichel Koscielny Targett

I need to drop one of those 12 on the field to the bench, and am inclined to drop Azpi and play the AOA chip. I could honestly justify playing every single player this week. The original plan was to bench Mahrez but it's a tough pill to swallow considering he just towelled up 15 points and is on penos.

    Thoughts please?

      Targett over Coates imo.
Tough call on the benching, maybe Milner or Mahrez

Need some advice. I went without Hazard in order to stack my midfield so I could make best use of all out attack chip GW2, however Walcott has an impending price drop and Jenkinson may not start given West Ham's performance v Arsenal. This was the planned team:

    McCarthy (Hennessey)

    Jenkinson Gomez (Mert Huth Targett)

    Walcott Ozil Sterling Depay Mane

    Rooney Benteke (C) Sakho

    1. Should I stick with the plan and save FT and take price drop.

    2. Should I transfer out Walcott to 7.5 mid or below and stick all out attack

    3. Should I transfer out Walcott to 4.5 save all out attack to fund Aguero next week.

Save the FT. Walcott should start vs Palace.

I have no strong views on use of the AoA chip. I am holding it back when my defence is ravaged by injury.

    Myhill
    Kos/Coates/Targett
    Haz/Ozil/Sterling/Mane
    Rooney/Sakho/Pelle
    Subs: Alex, Mahrez, Huth, Mings

Am going to bank the transfer. Apart from sterling I am happy with others and he will go by Gw3 anyways to get in Kun.

Torn by the benching dilemma. Mahrez or should I believe in the blue bus and bench Sterling?

Currently Sakho captain but Pelle worth a shout?

Sterling has a great run gw3 onwards I'd rather lose Ozil

True. It is all too soon to judge but looks like Sterling was subdued yesterday. I guess he can only improve when Kun starts.

I have half a mind to chuck out all the premium players and go with mid priced MFs. It is a struggle to resist such thoughts.

    Schmeichal (Schwarger)
    Azpi Cedric Coates (Huth Francis)
    Haz Wally Mane Sterling (Wanyama)
    Rooney Benteke Wilson

    1. Sterling >> Mahrez OR Payet
Avoid price rise. also this will free up cash for Aguero in GW3.

    2. Save FT

If you are sold on him for 8-10 weeks and want to prevent being priced out of a transfer you might as well do it. In any case if Ki is out for some time that should be your priority. Wilson will do ok in the interim.

Rooney, looked poor. Hasn't scored in the PL at Villa since 2007.
