Limping out of the blocks like three flabby Dads at their kids’ Sports Day, Granville, Jonty and myself are in a sheepish mood for the first ScoutCast of the season.

We do our upmost to rouse some enthusiasm for the events of Gameweek 1, buoyed by tales from you, the community and your latest round of finely honed questions, drilling down into the current big dilemmas.

Chelsea and Arsenal’s stuttering start, the strategy surrounding Aguero and Sanchez, plus the top targets ahead of Friday’s 6.45 deadline provide plenty to distract me from the fact that I’d been robbed of a David Silva goal just minutes before coming on air.

This ScoutCast was recorded on Monday evening and went out live via our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to our channel to get updates on the next cast if you want to drop in live.

    Does anyone know what time price changes are happening. Could have sworn I logged in at 7:00am to no changes then by 7:30 some had moved. Not sure if it was just a cache thing or something.

    I remember it being 3:00am or thereabouts last year.

            Yeah, I decided to go with him as my fifth mid, at least for now, since it looks like it might be a while before everybody else is healthy/ready.

            He was on the bench, unfortunately, but I was happy with him there for now.

            That midfield is sure gonna be crowded though, when everybody else gets back
