    GW 3 transfer done. Cabaye for Walcott. Couldn't afford Theo to drop in price and I've now got 2.5m in the bank to use my second transfer on Rooney to Aguero if he's fully fit.

        Cabaye was more an enabler to fund Aguero. I like his GW 3 fixture at home to Villa. Plus he's a proven FPL performer.

      But really need to see another game each. Alexis looked lively for the 30mins he played we're comparing to the 90 Hazard played who disappointing so we're looking around at others..

    Rarely post on here but reading some of these posts I am dumbfounded. Its been 1 gameweek and posts are stating never a better time to wildcard? Getting rid of Walcott before hes kicked a ball in gameweek 2? Making transfers now to save on a whole 0.1? When did everyone get so fickle.

      I think it's exceptional circumstances because of Aguero and Sanchez' arrival in the game. We know that ownership of City's attackers looks vital from GW4 onwards and much of the trade activity at the moment is sparked by this.

      In other circumstances, they'd be more patience with failing heavy-hitters - I'd certainly be less fidgety.

        I don't think so. Everyone had an Aguero plan anyway. Sanchez is nowhere near essential.

        I think it's more a state of panic about poor starts to the season.

        Funnily enough I am now planning to delay my wildcard to GW13 instead of taking it during the first international break. My start hasn't been great (average last week and a Rooney captain fail tonight) but that disposes me to play a longer game rather than chasing.

      For me his uncertainty of starts is one thing; not starting due to the donkey that is Giroud is not something I can handle on a weekly basis.

      0.1 at this stage is equivalent to 0.5. Also holding a wildcard has never been proven to work or not. There's cases for both arguments. For some strange reason it's found upon to use your wildcard early around here.

    You know what, worst case scenario is that the Walcott transfer can be reversed. It would cost -4 and we can get him for 0.1 cheaper than we had him before, leaving 0.1 in the bank.

    I can just see further disappointment heading the way of Wally owners.

    Walcott Rooney owners

    We need at 2.5m to get Aguero but imo the 6.5 midfield options aren't that great. Cabaye has some terrible fixtures coming up and Lens plays for Sunderland who don't look good at all based on last week. Let Walcott drop and reassess. Plenty of good options at 6.0 or less.

      Personally, I'm just going skinny up front with Aguero and hoping my midfield heavies carry me. I'm going with Aguero, Wilson and Vardy from GW4 but with Mane, Sanchez, Silva and Sterling.

      I freed 1.5 this week with Cesc to Payet. Next week will either save or free a further 1.5m and then make the change in GW 4. That way I don't have to go full cheap with mids but get 2 mid priced (Payet and Ayew) or downgrade Tekkers/Kane and get Gomis maybe. Lets me more or less maintain balance.

        As long as your team balance isn't torn apart to fit Aguero you're fine. I'm still going with my planned route to Aguero - just glad I started the season with 0.5 in the bank just in case some price swings went against me. Didn't expect Walcott to go t*ts up so quick

    I think best time for WC is after GW 7.

    City and Palace will have 5 home games in period from GW 8 to 14. I would triple on City and double up Palace. Will also get bck Hazard and will try to get Sanchez.

    Biggest issue for me with Walcott is game time. I'm not willing to have a 9m mid who I'm not sure from one week to the next will start. He could be explosive if he got guaranteed starts
