Yesterday’s slim fantasy pickings has undoubtedly heaped the pressure on today’s four Premier League games to deliver. The Dugout Discussion chatroom will take you through them all, starting at White Hart Lane with Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool and culminating in Chelsea’s visit to champions Manchester United.

In and amongst those back-to-back games, two of our Europa League representatives, Stoke City and Fulham, take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and Manchester City at Craven Cottage respectively.

The “Super Sunday” opener kicks-off shortly, and here are the all-important team sheets…

Tottenham XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Adebayor, Defoe.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Lucas, Adam, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

Catching the eye are the big strike-partnerships both sides have named. Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor continue upfront for Spurs, whilst Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll start together for only the second time in the league this season.

Another headline is the return (to the substitutes bench at least) of Rafael van der Vaart, and it’s worth remembering he is not in Spurs’ Europa League squad.

Feast or famine, the Dugout Discussion chatroom will be here for you all day.

Your not really serious are you?

Spurs have good start, Liverpool are poor and down to 10men.
Nothing really to do with VDV. Kranjaer has been average.

I am serious, i thought they struggled with him in the side last season, the balance was really poor. You like stats, well Spurs scored a lot more goals in 09/10 then they did in 10/11.

Again nothing to do with VDV

Defoe lost his form last year and rest of forwards

Besides 09/10 everyone scored more , pl was alot more even last year and didnt have Hull Burnely porthsmouth.

Struggled is a massive mis judgement. They were 4 points off the top last spring and got to QF while beating Arsenal home and away .

All opinions welcome i was wondering now with Rodallega out injured does that mean Moses will be an OOP prospect or will Sammon take his place?
am wondering as i was contemplating selling Moses this week but this changes thing?

Moses is still 1 of the last players in my team I'd consider selling. He's playing reasonably well, and high up the pitch. Still a good choice for 5mil.

      Did you ask this earlier?

Rodallega plays wide left in a 4231, Moses wide right so I doubt he'll be affected.
Most likely if they keep the same shape, then someone like Crusat will step up. Otherwise a switch to 442 and Conor Sammon.

A yellow card could be given if Adam was not booked earlier. The ref should have considered the foul and the game situation. The foul was not intentional (Adam was trying to get the dropping ball) even though it was quite dangerous.
