Yesterday’s slim fantasy pickings has undoubtedly heaped the pressure on today’s four Premier League games to deliver. The Dugout Discussion chatroom will take you through them all, starting at White Hart Lane with Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool and culminating in Chelsea’s visit to champions Manchester United.

In and amongst those back-to-back games, two of our Europa League representatives, Stoke City and Fulham, take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and Manchester City at Craven Cottage respectively.

The “Super Sunday” opener kicks-off shortly, and here are the all-important team sheets…

Tottenham XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Adebayor, Defoe.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Lucas, Adam, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

Catching the eye are the big strike-partnerships both sides have named. Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor continue upfront for Spurs, whilst Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll start together for only the second time in the league this season.

Another headline is the return (to the substitutes bench at least) of Rafael van der Vaart, and it’s worth remembering he is not in Spurs’ Europa League squad.

    with this 442 / 424 formation we look unbelievably good going forward.
    Only concern is how open we are at the back - it will surely bite us in the arse at some point this season.

    Ok I need the most illogical advice for forward to get next week. Logical signings this season is not working. Guys who just loaded up on Rooney, Aguero, Silva and Young are flying. And even their filler players are doing the business, Gabbidon, R.Taylor, N.Taylor.

        The logical thing would be to have a balanced team rather than a Forward Heavyweight team, or atleast thats the general rule. I'm paying big time for having no heavyweights.

          That's not logical. It's just a tactic, like other tactics. With the pattern of the low points from the mids, it was a legitimate tactic to go big upfront. Can't say it wasn't logical
