    REPOST:

Thinking of WC'ing to get Aguero in:

    WC team -

    Butland, McCarthy

    Darmian, Cedric, Gomez, Huth, Martin

    Sanchez, Silva, Mahrez, Payet, Redmond

    Aguero, Gomis, Diouf

    What do you think?

I know there is zero Chelsea coverage, but there is very little that appeals to me from them at the moment.

Had Gomez and Redmond in alreadly, but Diouf and Darmian are new.

Diouf because he has good fixtures coming up and Darmian as United seem to have their defence sorted and he would be the only 5.5ish defender that they have that is nailed on.

      Richards for Huth?

Richards going up tonight, Huth risking going down this week, not sure on that though, but the risk is there

I would downgrade Redmond for a 4.5m - probably Westwood - and bring in Hart for Butland. After Everton (A) they have a fantastic run of fixtures and l would feel a lot more comfortable with a secure, top keeper.

I like Gomez. I think he will be nailed. He looks much better defensively than Moreno and l expect him to be first choice all season. Rodgers assistant manager, O'Driscoll, loves him.

A pretty good, in form team. I don't see to many cs from that defence tho, but I could be wrong. Do you think silva is worth those ekstra 1,5 over yaya?

My team for next week after making two transfers:

    Ruddy
    Bellerin, Huth, Williams
    Hazard(v), Shelvey, Coutinho, Payet
    Rooney(C), Pelle, Sakho

    Bench: Stekelenburg, Mahrez, Coates, Francis

3.5 in the bank. Sticking to my plan to buy Sergio for GW4.

Is waiting for Coates, Francis, Rooney and Hazard to fall in price a SUICIDE move?

I'm not a fan but have looked into it. Redmond's shot conversion is very good but arguable unsustainable. Hoolahan seems the assister in chief. For .5 cheaper I slightly prefer Hoolahan.

Pretty easy for me. Last season:

      REDMOND:
Squad: 46, Starting eleven: 33, Substituted in: 10
      Goals: 5 Assists: 12

      HOOLAHAN:
Squad: 38, Starting eleven: 27, Substituted in: 9

      Redmond.

Alex Neil has him flying. 5 goals in the last six, he's finally developing his final product. Two excellent strikes this season, albeit against a shambolic Sunderland backline this weekend.

Hoolahan is great to watch but will rarely score, has no power in shots and isn't on corners and FK's as implied above but is on pens (could change when new striker comes in).

Also, have a look at Brady (5.5),on majority of set pieces and once Olsson returns will be pushed up from left back to left wing.

      My choice = Redmond short-term, Brady long-term

Anyone know why Johnson was dropped at the weekend? So far he's had 8 shots in only 127 minutes and was Norwich's 14-15 player of the year. What are the chances he'll get back in the team? Have him in my team.

        Bradley Johnson

“I don’t feel Bradley (Johnson) has played as well as he is capable of doing so far this season. Bradley did well last year but he hasn’t reached those levels up to this point and that is why he didn’t play."

His game is suited to the championship, power and strength. Technique/passing not good enough at the higher level.

    Who watched the ARS game?

Is Sanchez really that much better than Ozil as an FPL pick? When he was playing up front last year he was worth 11.0 easy but now.... surely Ozil at 8.5 is enough??

    Thoughts? How did they look?

    1. Les Bleus

Seeing a lot of Shelvey love around

Do people believe he'll still be getting forward enough to be a viable option when the less defensively minded Ki returns to replace Cork? At the end of the day Shelvey is still a central midfielder, not exactly the most attack minded player

I've seen his stats and they are great, but I can't help but think they'll soon die down a bit considering at the end of the day he's a centre mid, and particularly when Ki replaces Cork his defensive duties will be more significant.

It's always been like that when the world number one is a "swashbuckler" though.
Woods, Norman, couples and woosnam briefly...all popular and would be shown all round.
Faldo was only shown when in contention as is the biggest twat in golf

Did Olsson replace Lescott in the lineup? Chances of that continuing?

    Team is: (1FT)

    Butland, Ruddy
    Azpi, Kosc, Williams, Huth, Targett
    Hazard, Ozil, Payet, Chadli, Fletcher
    Rooney, Pelle, Sakho

    Which downgrade is better?

    A) Ozil ----> Ayew (No Swans coverage)
    B) Hazard ---->Silva (No City coverage)
    C) Koscienly/Azpi ----> 4.5

    Cheers 🙂

Any thoughts on wether I should WC?

    Lloris (McCarthy)
    Mertesacker Williams Cedric (Huth, Coates)
    Sterling Mane Walcott Depay
    Rooney Pelle Benteke

Or will a couple of hits suffice.

    Rooney + Walcott + Sterling —-> Aguero + Mahrez + Silva?

    Cheers 🙂

You rate Payet higher than Ozil, Caz, Ramsey, Mata, Depay etc?

Who better to have Hart or Kolarov? Will Kolarov become rotation risk?

    ROONEY

Everyone knows he has looked off the pace recently. United also look like they dont quite know what they are supposed to be doing apart from passing and keeping possession.

Are they just warming up and will then surprise us by clicking in to gear? Will rooney finds his shooting boots again? History tells us he knows where the goal is when he plays up front all season.....

I just cant have 10.5 spent on him though when we NEED such expensive options like Sanchez/Silva....

    Thoughts?

I had Rooney but he's gone now. He's been abysmal in the first two games. He's not on penalties and only some frekicks.

Someone like Mata for Utd attacking coverage and bin Rooney.

He loves a goal vs Newcastle and he'll still score 15 this season but he's constant ability to have a stinker means there's better options.

He didn't look like scoring on Friday. I've sold and replaced with Aguero.

Hazard Is close to being chopped. Chelsea can't keep playing that badly. I am slightly concerned his price will drop though.
