I am thinking of getting Adebayor but should I drop RVP or Dzeko?
Hi guys, bit annoyed with Adebayor brace today, wanted him to be quiet before I bring him in for next week.
Team linked, how do these transfers look? Mata for Hoolahan/Brunt & Adebayor for RVP? (two frees)

I'd be tempted to keep Hoolahan and RVP personally, I certainly am. Both could score very well this week.

Really impressed with Spurs last couple of games. Just shows how things quickly change (also see Wolves). Really tempted by K Walker as a de facto right winger, but way too much at 5.4. 4.5-5 and I'd be interested. Ironically, Hutton is probably better value.
They looked a much better side without luxury VDV. Enabled them to play 2 up top!
Yeah when he came on. I was referring more to the 90% of other games VDV has played where he's been just off a lone front man (mainly Crouch!)

I think Mata is great, and has the backing of AVB, but Young is just playing so well at the moment.

GKs and defence are a bit weak but I think the mids and forwards are very nice 😉 Have I gone too top heavy?
I almost did that same team today with my WC. This season is about the Heavyweights. And Gabbidon, NTaylor and Simpson better not mess up now that I have them.
So is this your team then? I'm tempted to keep Dzeko instead of Aguero which lets me keep Given and get Barton in instead of Tiote. Am I mad not to get Aguero on a wc though?
Tinkering earlier myself and pretty much came up with the same team. Tired of relying on clean sheets. You're right on the heavyweights.
2 free transfers and want to take advantage of price rises this week, will WC gameweek 7. Are either of these worth a point hit?
A- BAines, Walcott, Bent -Boswinga Mata, Adebayor, (-4)
B- Baines ,Bent, Holt- GAbbidon, Aguero, Adebayor (-4)
Brown or Bramble. Think some Sunderland cover will be useful this season but which one?
Brown. Better defender and more likely to get BPs.
Hasty. I think Sun will pick up as I said earlier (more in an attacking sense) but a decent result against a tired Stoke doesn't transform their season.
Having said that, they were a great source of defensive points for much of last season and dovetail lovely with Newc. Perhaps should have stayed patient with Brown as I have with Sess.
Personally always go for the cheapest cover, so Bramble is your man. I have gone for Mignolet dough. Because for 4,5 you can get Woodgate.
Disagree cos I've been burned many times taking the cheaper option.
No offence, but Woodgate is a terrible option.
Doesn't train everyday, so don't expect him to be ready for the matches you need him for.
He was left out of the Europa league team for a reason.
Yeah you can get burned by Woodgate( with the injuries. But I think Bosingwa, Gabbidon, Simpson,Vorm,Enrique, Ekotto and also Bramble are good options. And get the same or better points per million spent, as their more expensive coplayers.

1) team looks good from my point of view.
2) I'd be most tempted by option b, Arteta seems the best form of Arsenal cover, but option a seems alright too. I'd avoid option c but that's just my opinion.

check his second season stats at his previous clubs and you may change your mind.
Here's his second season at wolfsburg....similarity is that the purchase of aguero has galvanised him in the same way.

depends how much cash you need to free? Jags is an expensive bench warmer IMO and with Evertons upcoming fixtures, you could see some movement in terms of people shipping him out

I think Tiote needs to be sold pronto. I'd keep Suarez as he has a great fixture next week. You have City cover in Nasri.
I would do Dzeko > Adebayor (looks like he's going up tonight)
Maybe Tiote > Dyer? I know it sounds kneejerky, as both the potential players in scored well this week, but i think in general they're good moves.
If you want to downgrade Warnock, i'd suggest a Stoke defender for example, Woodgate...
is woodgate not a rotation risk? i'd thought about him...
