Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

See below. I brought them both in for Ster/Fab this week for -4. Depends on rest of your team )Gomis - Sakho/Zarate, but in my view, Payet long term despite extra .5 although ask me again this time next week!

Anyone else feels, this wildcard template that's gathering momentum is a bit hyped?

I feel by gameweek 5 it would be back to Aguero, Sanchez, Hazard, Kane and add to that Sterling/silva/yaya. Feel Gomis isn't the right man.

Ummm, for starters there is no Kane anywhere. Hazard is being dropped by many. And according to my template fitting in a city defender would be near impossible. People are trying to get in city defenders and I feel that will backfire.

      of course it is

the pre season template has already proved to be shite hence all those so called quality players who in reality just play a safe game and select the same team as every other and captain the bloke top of the poll every week are sitting around 2mil in rank and are panicking

this new template could easily be proved shite in another week or 2 and then where does it leave them

I haven't taken Gomis in my wildcard team. I prefer Ayew. But did take out Hazard. I have to find a way ti get Hazard back.

Gomis might do OK next few (easy) games, but the stats are misleading. Both games so far, Swansea played 10 men for much of the game. I suspect he'll revert to the mean pretty quickly when he has to play 11 for 90 minutes, and will just be another reasonable budget striker among many.

A quick dilemma guys. Help is hugely appreciated

    A) Play Albrighton + Bench Muniesa (AOA Chip) (2-5-3)
    B) Play Muniesa + Bench Albrighton (3-4-3)

Hey Jonty, although the following is meant to be common knowledge please could you kindly remind all during Scoutcast as a lot of people are still activating Wild cards instead of doing transfers and activating the Wild card on Friday .. thanks..

TO ALL considering playing your wildcard this week.. if you have not already done so, then do not activate the wild card , just simply do the transfers and then either 1st thing on Friday or after price rises on Friday activate the Wild card... this will allow you to contribute and take advantage of price rises and falls.. if you activate the wild card your transfers don't seem to count to helping prices move..

Basically if you activate the wild card now ( instead of waiting til Friday), you probably will not be able to increase TV as the transfers you make won't count towards price rises..

once you activate the wild card on Friday any transfers made prior won't count against you and all will be free per FPL rules.
