Who is the best value defender to get for 6.8M or less not including Richards, Enrique, Brown or Bosingwa as I already have them?
Thinking of getting a cheapie like S.Taylor so I can upgrade players like Long to Adebayor and Bent to Rooney. If I do Baines to S.Taylor I will have 4.5M in the bank. Thoughts?
I can just assume players like Camzy,si & Co are doing just a badly as I am.

I was just gonna say, I haven’t seen much of the people who were throwing out advice left, right and centre during pre-season, whilst everyone else gathered around them and pleaded for guidance – not really surprising that a lot of them have disappeared and that a lot of the people that listened to them are doing poorly
I know a couple of who I would called "elite" players (i.e. top 200 finishers last season) packed it in after GW1 after the complete shambles of a launch by FPL, but those guys play for quite a lot of cash. I imagine a few around here did the same to be honest.

Theres no difference between the person who finished 1st and the person who finished 10,000.
Its all luck from there, anybody who thinks they got into the top 200 because of skill are well deluded
the margin of points in the top few thousand is minimal, there really isn't that much separating players up that high

Morning.. anyone playing fixtures etc like last few years probably doing pretty badly. Anyone with Aguero, Dzeko and Rooney up front who hasn't touched their team all season and tried to captain Torres probaly doing great!
A bit unfair to say people doing well dont touch their teams. But I think your onto to something saying people who have aguero, Rooney are doing great. People who have captained sess, moses and rvp arent doing good. Im going to go out on a limb and say that the person who comes first will be the person who scores the most points. I am surprised no one has made this comment (all said sarcastically)

Aguero to be rested with a CL game the following Tuesday... ridiculous knee-jerk that RVP to Agg transfer. Can see RVP making you regrest that at home against Bolton.
That's my hope for RVP, as an owner, too. But I feel it's unlikely with the way Arsenal play now with no playmaker. Is it Arteta who being employed as playmaker?

Agreed. Jumping on the Silva bandwagon will require a downgrade. Suarez to Agbon or Adeb????!!! Won't make me happy but I guess it's all about the points....
R Taylor has risen 0.4 since the season started, is he a cert in the newcastle defence or is he at risk from Santon?

i like rvp's fixtures, but i'm not thrilled about arsenal for obvious reasons. i could go rvp > aguero and dzeko > adebayor which would free up cash to upgrade mids/def. any suggestions?
aguero seems a must - my main rival has only kept in touch via that little wizard!
