Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

    I think that the only reason Liverpool have owon this game is because Liverpool's players are more talented but aren't necessarily the better team

      Not sure you guys got what I'm saying. I think Bournemouth are better than the sum of their parts while Liverpool's team is isn't as good as the sum of parts would suggest. But because Liverpool has players with that can provide a little bit of quality in the final third they won.

    Impressed with Ritchie tonight, Daniels looked very good also. Hopefully a couple of price drops and I can grab Ritchie on my WC. Wilson started well but went missing in the second half, spent too much time in the box and not enough putting some graft in.
